What a Christian have to do to become a good person?
How do we follow Jesus's examples? we are only human/sinners
 
Nothing. We are not 'good people'. God makes us righteous, when we choose to follow Him. And through us being reborn and then working to be renewed daily our heart and actions fall more in line with God's and this changes us.
But the bible says the good works man does on his own are as 'filthy rags'.
And this is not about religious rituals. This is about having a real, active and ongoing relationship with God that we pursue. That we happily submit to Him and allow Him to work in us and through us. There is no ritual. Rituals are false religion.
We can become 'good people' by human standards, but in God's eyes we are only made good by accepting Christ as our savior, the washing of our sins through his blood on the cross and this is evidenced by the changes in our lives and thinking.
