It's interesting. Supposedly Women search for men of an equal intelligence level, whereas men typically look for women who are of slightly lesser intelligence. In this way, men get the better end of the deal.

So gentlemen, if you consider yourself intelligent and fancy women who are of above average intelligence, you have it made. Or do you?

Maybe it's because you "Need" each other! His weakness's may be your strengths and vise versa.

Look at Forrest Gump! Yes I know it was a movie, but how many Forrest Gumps do you know? On the outward appearance, dumb as one can be, but he built an empire! Yes there are really people like that in the world!

If you think your smart, well just keep on living and you'll someday see just how "Dumb" we all really are! Just sayin :)

Personally I think we are looing at this from the wrong angle... what's more important intelligence or wisdom? I'm sure we can all testify to knowing intellectuals who are the biggest fools.. and well there are many fools who despise wisdom, which is different from being intellectual.

To me being wise is heading good instruction...wisdom starts with the fear of the Lord.

I am not saying there is anything wrong with being academic... I think its great that some are.. also I think its great that some aren't it would be a boing world if we were all the same... but wisdom, that something different and true wisdom can only come from God, and we are all on that path.
 
I'd rather have common sense over academic ability. It seems these days the academics have all the answers to the problems of society but they just don't make [common] sense yet they insist their solutions are correct.

People being perceived as dumb are the ones who take longer to understand concepts and the time taken would be proportional to the level of complexity. Then there's the different ways of putting a concept across and one method doesn't work with everybody.

We all have our talents. What someone may easily understand may be hard for somebody else to pick up. It doesn't mean they're dumb, it just means their talent lies somewhere else.

Stoopid people are not all that bad and we had it rough too - Look - 1.)When I was a kid they put a sign out in front of my house saying Slow Children Playing 2.) stoopid people are loyal and expendable and ....D.) I played football and genius isn't applicable in football. Genius is guys like Norman Einstein.

I bet if you met me I could turn your opinion around 360 degrees.
 
One comment was not to date fools as written in the Word, I would think that a fool is someone who does not have a personal reltionship with the Lord, because he/she would not understand reason, and it would be about them always being right.....mmmmm.

I too am dumb in many area's thank God for His grace.

Oh I wanted to add that I am good friends with what the world would call someone dumb or slow, she is this way because her mom decided it was okay to drink lots of alchol when she was pregnant with her, does this mean she is dumb/slow or is it her mom that was?????

Or maybe I am the dumb/slow one for not taking the time to talk to people that I have categorised and somehow think they are a little beneath my intelligence level, wowwee that would be a scary place to be hey???? Can you imagine if the Lord looked at us through those kinds of glasses????

But then we all to often say Jesus loves you, He made you just the way you are, but boddy that doesn't mean that I want any part of that creation, I am VERY selective who I am with, goodness what would people think or say????
