what are sacrifices to be a long last married?

being a long last married,for me is to honest both and for that im sure you receive gods will.
 
long lastin marriage takes ,patience ,diligence ,and of course lots of love.
 
One of the biggest sacrifices is to not always seek your own way but honor your spouse above yourself.
 
When i get married, im hoping being critical of one another will be the key for our great marriage!!
 
Someone once told me something that I always think upon when I dwell on the "forever-ness" of my marriage....

"Making a decision murders all other options"

I think of that whenever I'm having problems in my marriage....when I got married, I murdered all other options. Divorce is not an option for me, because I believe that there is no such thing as a divorce that God would approve of, and so because God has joined us we will always be. And i think that along with a lot of love and patience goes a long way!
 
obviously I got it wrong. My beautiful bride left me this week. I could use prayer and suggestions. I have faith that through prayer, diligence and understanding, we can eventually reconcile In Christs name I do ask for any suggestions that may help me...thank you all and God Bless!

the best advice I can give you my friend is prayer prayer and more prayer!!! Our God is a God of reconcilation and I am standing in belief for you brother that your marriage will be restored in the name of Jesus! Pray much, and lean on the understanding of God - He knows what is best for you and He will not forsake you!! Don't give up! My prayers are with you!
 
My husband I were married for 16 years before he died. Our secret to a happy marriage was praying together every night. Every night we had family devotions with the kids and then after we went to bed we did our Bible reading and prayed together. Prayer is the glue that holds families together.
