What are we looking?
Many people rely on this verse to abet themselves and others to wear sensual clothes. For starter, Jesus isn’t cardiologist nor butcher: Holiness is called for Him in our body, soul and spirit (1Thess 5.23).
Furthermore, the human being, unfortunately, see the appearance. Thus, if the people around us stumble in faith because of our vesture, our behavior or way of speaking, we are wounding their conscience and, obviously, sinning against Christ (1Cor 8.10-12).
So, let’s clothe us, behave and speak in a way that allow Jesus use us for His glory.
