I was trimming trees and hedges today and did something I wasn't very happy about. My extension cord got tangled in a branch and cut through it before I saw it. Tomorrow morning I will need to resplice and fix it, which will put me behind. Next thing I bang my knee into a piece of equipment and could hardly walk. That's ok, I had to finish what I was doing and put everything away. Now it feels much better, so I thought of this song and have been singing it while cleaning up and getting dinner ready.
If anyone is wondering, No I didn't write it.

Youch, sounds painful!

I didn't know all of those verses but I used to sing that with one of my little sisters a lot. Such a fun song.

I'm glad that we learned children's songs and are reminded about them every so often. There's a lot to be grateful for and I can't think of happier tunes than we sang in Jr. Church.

I had this cassette tape.
It has a verse that says:
"I've got the peace that passes understanding down in my heart!"

There's another version I remember that says;
"I've got the wonderful love of my blessed Redeemer way down in the depths of my heart...!"

oh, the truths and simplicity of children's praise and worship.

That is so special. I'm reminded of some of those from time to time when things aren't going well. The swelling came back again so Im going to apply some essential oils. That stuff really works.

Do you use lemongrass? I don't know about bruises but it's good for joint pain.
