This song is about Joseph being seduced by Potipher's wife. God tells Joseph to run and Potiphers wife falsely accuses Joseph of trying to rape her. Joseph is sent to prison, regardless if he did it or not.
Been in the book of Ruth lately. This is my third song about Ruth and Boaz and maybe the last one for this year. This one mentions her resting at his feet and asking him to be her redeemer. They end up getting married. The end. The Bible’s version of a Disney movie.
