It is usual in our society everyone trying to conquer the favor of the other people through what they can do for them (for instance, at the moment of getting an employment, a girlfriend or boyfriend). Nonetheless, Jesus was clear:
• Luk 14:8,9 -> “ "When you are invited by anyone to a wedding feast, do not sit in the chief place, lest someone more honorable than you has been invited by him. For the one who invited you and him shall come to you and say, 'Give place to this one,' and then shall you begin with shame to take the last place.”.
And in Proverbs it is written:
• Pro 25:14 -> “Like clouds and wind without rain is a man who boasts of a gift he does not give.”.
• Pro 27:2 -> “Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.”.
The Holy Scripture is clear on showing that the true love can’t be bought:
• Son 8:7 -> “Many waters cannot quench love, nor can the rivers overflow it. If a man would give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be scorned.”.
If we pine for being accepted and welcomed, let’s develop the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Gal 5:22), in particular, the faithfulness. This kind of person is a specie in extinction:
• Psa 12:1 -> “Save, O LORD, for the godly one is gone; for the faithful have vanished from among the children of man.”.
• Mic 7:2 -> “The godly has perished from the earth, and there is no one upright among mankind; they all lie in wait for blood, and each hunts the other with a net.”.
• Jer 5:1 -> “Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, look and take note! Search her squares to see if you can find a man, one who does justice and seeks truth, that I may pardon her.”.
• Ecc 7:28 -> “which my soul has sought repeatedly, but I have not found. One man among a thousand I found, but a woman among all these I have not found.”.
And if, in the time of the Old Testament was difficult to find a faithful person, and today, when the love of many is cooling (Mat 24:12) (and even there is a cabal in order to accelerate this process in order to implement the New World Order – the kingdom of the antichrist)?
