It might be a book, a word study or a concept study, but what are you studying lately?
 
I've read the new testament a lot, I've been thinking I should study the old testament books some. I think I might just start at Genesis 1:1.

I have been planning on a study of the book of Job . I hope to complete a 4to 5 month study starting some time late October or early November. Lately in my Bible studies I have been studying Dutch [FONT=&quot]Floriculture. [/FONT]:D

Funny, I was doing that for 2-4 years. (Almost finished Numbers.) Then I needed a little inspiration. Now I need some straight up Jesus time, so I'm in Gospel of John now.
 
Kingdom Theology, and our place in the function of it on and in the now-existing Earth.

I'm also in John, and this is what I noticed:

The first evangelist was a WOMAN. The Samaritan woman at the well went back to her village and told her personal testimony. The people then went to find Jesus who she said was possibly the Anointed One.

I just never saw that before - the woman was the first evangelist to go to a city who didn't know Jesus and proclaim Him.
 
Comparison of three different canons to see if I can determine on my own why they are different instead of relying on the accepted "because we say so". Along with this, I'm going through some extra-biblical stuff to since I've always found that stuff kind of fascinating. I haven't had much free time to work on this, but I'll get back to it because I was enjoying it a lot before I had to put it aside.

I'm gong through descriptions of all the "Millennial Types" right now. It's fascinating. And, it leaves me wondering how half these guy even keep track of what they are supposed to believe in.

I’ve just started reading through the bible again - you know those schemes which
ping pong between the old and New Testament. The one I have has a good balance.
Im in Luke at the moment. If I find something extra interesting I divert and study it
a bit, then get back on track.

A couple of years ago I did a read through the bible broken down into
date order. It was amazing how it brought everything together. It skipped about a
lot but for example you really get a great perspective as to just how many verses
there are in the bible about creation. There are far more than just the first few
chapters of Genesis.

Im studying on Placing the four gospels back into one flowing orderly account, a personal project I'm enjoying.

Quite interesting, could very well be for she just met him by the well.

i think Anna was the only prophetess woman in the NT and spoke in the temple in Jerusalem about Jesus also. though she wasn't evangelizing but prophetizing

You probably know this, but just in case, there are interlinear Bibles available -- basically, someone figured out the time lines for all four gospels and made it into one. (At least, that's how I imagined it. Never actually looked at one.)
