I saw this around 20 years ago, so it might have language that I forgot about. It had 3 good actors and a convincing script.
I don't know about movies, but the best show of the series was "Tribbles".
My fave is Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) with Kim Cattrall, Iman and Christopher Plummer. It's fantastic on a big screen with good sound. It's an excellent story, lot's of great characters and is super exciting.
