The Comedy Company

An Australian comedy sketch show Ran for 3 seasons back in the 1980s. Hilarious, even today.
Just revisiting it because Australians are so funny. Just to hear them speak is a riot.

And I remember I had the cassette tapes of their comedy segments in an album.
I had the Kylie Mole diary and one of their books. They sent up everything so bad. I miss those skits and parodies. I look at standup comedians today and I think...no just telling jokes alone into a mike for 5 minutes straight for laughs isn't my idea of comedy!
 
Just watched Masters of the Universe (2026) with @seanoflongbeach and we really liked it! It was a smashing remake. It was one of those movies that would be great to see at the theater. Neither one of us got to see it at the theater. It just left the theater not very long ago (this month, I think) and I didn't think it would be available to watch this soon. Thanks to Sean, he let me know that it's on Prime...

The Running Man (2025) remake. I gave up on this twice before I decided I'd give it a third try. It actually gets better after about 30 minutes. The first 30 minutes aren't that great, but the rest of the movie is entertaining...

Detective Conan, Apothecary Diaries and Star Detectives Precure.

Detective Conan is good and it's kinda funny how this show aired in 1996 and how the technology is older and some of the mysteries revolved around some of the old technology from the 90s and probably people didn't have a firm grip on how stuff worked but I feel like I have future knowledge.

Have you ever heard of the Kindachi case files? There was a crossover with Detective Conan on the Nintendo DS. Kindachi predates Conan by a few years
 
Tonight im watching Tales from the Crypt Keeper. It's a cartoon version of Tales from the Crypt and much more family friendly. Every episode has a good moral too.

last night, my wife & i watched "moonstruck". the movie did nothing for me. it's about a bunch of spiritually lost people. but then again, i was never much a tv watcher. i thought nicholas cage's character was out of line with the subject of the movie. in particular, his mannerisms & gesticulations.
 
I'm watching that Christian Chat movie.

It's fascinating to see that cursor go across the screen as someone types, and the little arrow too.
 
Xfiles season 11 (2018)
No, I didn't watch this all at once. I was a big Xfiles fan and when they returned in 2016 with season 10, I was glad to see it back. Well, that is until I watched season 10. I was so disappointed that I decided to not watch season 11. Not very long ago, when I saw that it's on Pluto, I decided I'd set aside my old disappointment and give it a go. I really liked season 11! It was so much better than season 10. Also, it was interesting how it came out in 2018 and they kept mentioning a coming pandemic and a worldwide contagion. Very interesting!

Watching Uresai Yatsura on anime hidive recently. I might have to track down the series. Unfortunately the series creator has a habit of making rather monotous content. I don't know if the series suffers from it.
