So what happens to all the Presbyterians, Lutherans, Methodists, and Episcopalians [& other denominationals] who happen to trust Christ as Savior, but were sprinkled as babies and die without being actually being water-baptized (as defined by dipping, dunking, immersing)?

Are they roasted in the Lake of Fire with weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth?

This is a pertinent question to any who advocate salvation by water-baptism and define baptism as immersion. The word "baptism" can be a way to hide what we mean, as baptize is bringing a Greek word into English by equivalent letters without translating it.

I am particularly interested in what those who advocate salvation by works, particularly the work of water-baptism.

What happens to persons who trusted Christ as SAvior and never got immersed? If they only get sprinkled, do they go to Hell?

The question actually depends upon where you're talking about. Most places, sprinkling a baby does nothing, but, in tobacco country, it puts out their first cigarette.

A baby that is baptized as an infant has a lot better chance at life than one who is not dedicated in the church. The parents speak for him, he will be told about the Lord as he matures. When two or three people are gathered in the Lord's name the Lord hears them, this is with the entire congregation gathering to dedicate the child to the Lord.

No baby baptism is considered final, the child must speak for himself to be truly baptized. This is understood by all and the child will have this explained to him for the child is then blessed with a family and a congregation praying for him and teaching him.
