What benefits you have in dairy life because your "patience"?

I just remembered this:

James 1:2-3 "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience."

And i was thinking that patience is very important in our lifes for example : if i wait with patience until the cars pass to cross the street then i will be having a benefit of my patience because i wont have a car accident.

what other examples you have in which you have a benefit of your patience?

Hi Liz,

This is a good one, patience was never one of my strong points I must admit. However, lately to be totally honest, being still andthinking the things of God has elped me stay calm (hope that makes sense).

An example would be at work itself, sometimes things arent going right, stress rears its ugly head, then patience slips with everything, and I have noticed the less patience I have the more things go wrong, because of the frustration of losing patience.

" things that help me from geting worse are.. Be still, and know thet [he] is God. Psalm 46:10

and thinking God's highest thought after him, His Son, our Saviour.

So I can say over the last 2 years my patience has increased at work, knowing that losing my patience only makes things worse..
