I agree. Do you have any insight into how Jesus knew what to do and not to do.
For example, how did He choose who to heal or not? How did He know it was time to move from one place to another? How did He make decisions about when to feed or not?
And does this relate to doing what He saw the Father doing? And how did He recognize what the Father was doing?
I suspect that Jesus (since He was "Tight" with Father in constant prayer and communion, and completely single minded about doing God's WILL), that He KNEW what, when, and where God was leading Him to do, say, perform miracles, whatever.

I'm aware when God is burdening me to do something, and Jesus PROMISED that we'd KNOW HIS VOICE, however it comes. Christians, after all, Are infilled with the Holy Spirit who gives us a "line" into God's desires for us. I'm also aware when OTHER voices try to get my attention (it's one of the listed gifts).

And, of course, I have a good working knowledge of WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS, and of it's context. IF one is IGNORANT of scripture, then they're FAIR GAME for all sorts of deception. Since BIBLICAL FAITH (Heb 11:1) is invariably grounded in GOD'S WORD to you (Rom 10:17), there's NO SUCH THING as "blind faith" - because you've got HIS WORD as the foundation.

Thanks for taking time to reply. And I agree with what you have said.
I'm wondering, though, as we walk through life are there times when God is working and we should notice and join.
For instance, Romans 3 says there are none who seek after God. Yet, from time to time, we find some who seem to be earnestly seeking. Is this God at work drawing someone to Himself and it is brought before us so that we might engage.
Would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.

It is helpful to first understand WHY Jesus did these miracles. He was establishing His credentials as the Son of God. Just because He does not heal me like He healed that guy in the Bible does not mean that He loves me any less.

Salvation is what is important at the moment. Glorification will come soon enough thereafter.

Thanks. Always appreciate your responses.
your posts are always appreciated and always though provoking which if we seek after those answers builds faith

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:3, 5-

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

John 5:19...Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

What things did Jesus see the Father doing?
First time I trolled this deep into chat archives and find a Scripture you noticed and questioned and seems a verse that requires almost 100% speculation. So my speculation is based on modern 'theories' of everything.

Like, what lies beyond the known universe? Theorists who claim to work only on theories which are able to be verified say it is not within the realm of sciences ability to prove the existence or nonexistence of anything outside of the known universe. This would necessarily include the Bible reference to 'things unseen'.

Quite certain Scripture supports 'things unseen' but couldn't locate now. God the Father has not been seen by any human with exception of Jesus, who may never have seen His Father when He was here as man.

There are theorists who speculate that there are universes other than the 'known' universe.

My speculation; ... Being created in God's image we generally look to procreate and fondly look to offspring to go on to better things than we ourselves achieved. So Jesus as Son of Father created the 'known' universe based on His Father's creation or creations, which He has seen, and exist beyond the 'known' universe. At this time we are limited in being able to prove this.
But, the Bible is a book that instructs us regarding faith. Faith may also be difficult to prove. Though not as difficult as 'unseen' universes and other entities which exist but cannot be seen.

It sounds probable to me that other universes could exist. No one can prove they don't exist. We should get those flat earthers to argue this. They make me LOL>>>LOL>>>>and could go on ad infinitum with a Flat universe???...LOL>>LOL

I'm truly laughing out loud and if I had room would probably be on the floor. I'm not going to be the one to do it but I have no problem encouraging you to do so. Lead on.

Unseen universes, were they to really exist, are irrelevant. To us they are irrelevant. Were there unseen universes with any to observe within them their universe would be relevant to them, but ours would not be, to them. If they were to exist. Heaven is relevant, and hell is relevant too, whether within the universe we know of or not within it. Any of us will go to one or to the other. And the Word, who Christ always was, was involved in the creation from God, all of it. The heavenly Father was not creating anything apart from the Word.

The unity of Logos the Word with God who is God and who became flesh as Christ the Son of God with the heavenly Father and the Creator Spirit is entire with agreement in will, that there is never disagreement.

I have few following me on Twitter, I would continue with it with having any more.

yes there’s no disagreement with Jesus and God because he is one

“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that is to say in Christ is father son and Holy Ghost bodily in one body

if you were to call the name of the father son and Holy Ghost , you would call the name Jesus he is the fulness of God manifest in bodily form

He saw the heavenly Father forgiving men their trespasses.

Matthew 6:14 KJV
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Yep, I think it's the same concept meant when we say "WWJD?" in determining your actions according to whether you can "see" Him doing or not doing something.

the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:6-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
‭‭John‬ ‭4:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The father and son are what makes a complete person spirit and body together

God is a spirit , Jesus is the manifestation of him to mans visible eyes and ears

he showing us mankind who God is and who man is meant to be by becoming the the perfect man the son of God

what I mean is “ the son is how the father has revealed himself to mankind “

What I was looking for would be something we could latch on to. For example, Jesus is going through life, walking down the street, and He sees something that evidenced God at work in an individual and responded to it. For example, Jesus is walking down the street one day in a throng of people. Suddenly He stops because virtue has gone out of Him. So He stopped to see what God had wrought in the woman. Another day a man comes and asks to heal a child. The man says all He needs to do is say a word, not come. Jesus sees his faith and recognizes God at work in his faith and says it will be so.
Examples like these I think would go a long way in helping the people of God recognize where God is at work and join Him.
