What do we look forward to evangelize for (Part 2)?
• “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he who takes souls is wise.” (Pro 11:30)
The fruit of the righteous isn’t only to feed people, but it is to make people who eat of them into a tree of life (Malachi 2:15). The great gift is:
• “The wicked desires the net of evils; but the root of the righteous yields fruit.” (Pro 12:12).
The righteous don’t depend on anybody or anything to live. The righteous lives only by faith (Hab 2:4; Rom 1:17; Gal 3:11; Heb 10:38). His provision comes from Jesus (Phil 4:19) and, the provision of Jesus is so copious that, not only satisfy the person, but every creature around him (it is good to remember that it is to preach the gospel to all creature, and not only to humans – Mark 16:15).
• “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: *thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over*.” (Psa 23:5)
By the way, one of the reasons for which many people don’t reach Jesus’ blessings is because they wish the blessings only for themselves. It is good to remember that, in the prayer that Jesus taught us, He put the pronouns in plural (“our Father”, “our daily bread”, “our debts”, and so forth – Matthew 6:9-13).
Jesus blesses us so that we can be able to share and have communion with people around us (2Cor 9:6-14) so that they can be arisen to do the same with people close to them and so on.
And not only this. As the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, they have the same capacity that is appointed in Revelation:
• “In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” (Rev 22:2).
• It bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: that is to say, they are ready to nurture people in the area that they need every moment, in every place and in every circumstance.
• the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations: that is, they are instrument of heal of the body, soul and spirit; of the past, present and future.
Perhaps you are saying: “how is it doable to heal the past and the future?”. Consider that we need to live the present aiming the future based on the past. Our past is the base for our actions. If it is marked by traumas, deceptions, frustrations, this will compromise all our present decisions and, considering that we reap what we sow (Galatians 6:7-9), this will threaten our future.
It comes the question: if everyone who eats of this fruit is turned into a member of the Tree of Life and vice-versa, to whom are the fruits? To the elect that still couldn’t experiment this precious gift in themselves.
So, have a good day being a tree of live and bearing trees of life wherever you go.
