I believe that you are suppose to sit down in one of the rows of seats and listen to the sermon, but from what I have heard is that it is okay to nod off at times.
It all depends on what Church it is.
Basically there are announcements, singing, prayer, readings,offerings, a sermon and greetings . Communion where wine and bread is given celebrating and proclaiming Christ's work at Calvary is done on occasions.
Those are the basics, some have more elaborate liturgies.

If I were you, I would find some other kids in your school or neighborhood who go to church. They would give you a good picture of what it is like for them. And what the churches in your area do.
People sing songs to worship God - a pastor brings teachings out of the bible to help you understand it better - and you will meet others your age who want to know more about God.

I can pray for you to have someone come into your life who goes to church, or can read the bible with you.
Even if you can't go to church at this time, you will be able to someday.

i have a bible, i bought it onlineand i am homeschoooled so uunfortunately idk how i am going to find christian friends
You were shelter, but now it is time for you to come out of this shell. Having friends isn't important, because the ones that hasn't been sheltered, are now sheltering themselves from the world. So if I were you, I would read the scriptures first before going to church, because your mind is innocent at the moment, but when you go to church, the preacher is going to fill your mind with the thoughts that he collected overtime in an non-sheltered life and which he might tell you that it is okay to drink and be merry and tell you to not to trust money unless it goes into his collection basket.
This was a very insensitive thing to say to a young person such as yourself. I was 14 once, and it was through the churches that I found a more meaningful relationship to God. The bible was put in words I could understand, and I felt the love of the people around me. Not one pastor out of many churches filled my mind with the above thoughts.
I was told how to dedicate myself in more ways to God, how to understand the grace of Jesus and the forgiveness he offers anyone who accepts him. I was told the meaning of the cross and its power upon our lives. I was never made to feel I HAD to give money. Offerings were taken to help others who were in need but it was up to the people there to determine if they wanted to give.
But, it is good for you to read and read the bible now. Get into your heart all you can - always praying for understanding while you read. There is a good bible out for 14 year olds. It is the Teen Life Application Bible. Easy to understand.

Ideally church is where believers gather together to fellowship around Gods word. It is a place where believers are disciple and encourage each other to live close to the Lord. It is a place where the word of God is exposited and where praises in song and prayer are lifted to the Lord.

You might could call a church near you and ask if they have someone who could pick you up. I imagine many in church would love to come and bring you to their church. I would look for a church with Bible Study Class and people your age in the class. I grew up in Southern Baptist denomination and their Bible Study (Sunday school) was wonderful and I learned much of the stories of the Bible and how to apply in my daily life. For me, the Lord has moved to join in Bible Reading and fellowship with Sabbath Keepers. May God Bless You where ever you are.

A church should do what the first Christians did according to the bible
Acts 2:42
42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
So a church should follow what the original apostles taught, helping each other, communion (John 6:53) , and prayer

idk what it's like in Oz, but here in the states the vast majority of home schoolers are Christians.
i wonder if you're involved in some sort of home school group?
you might find believers there.
at our church we worship God together, first in song, and then in hearing His Word taught.
i love that thought that you may find a church that will take you to and fro. (if it's ok w/mom and dad)

I'm not a painter myself so I'm not sure what sorts there are lol but there's usually 3-4 easles a table of oil and water paints for anyone who wants to paint. You can visit friends first church dot com dot au (sorry had to type it like that because I'm on my phone) and if you click through the links any picture that looks like a painting would have been done during services
I'm just preparing you for the real world, because some of things that you will see and here in churches isn't what the scriptures speaks of, and which it will might have you turn from the word. So expect the unexpected.
i got a niv bible first then a got a kjv a couple of months ago. I'm planning on getting a nkjv study bible next. and none of my family is christian not even my grandparents or aunts or uncles or cousins as far as im aware of. i have asked my dad if i can go to youth group because thats a start and he said yes still haven't gone though
