Stargazing

Being wrapped in something warm - cold makes me tense, but heat is relaxing

Playing in the dirt (some people call it gardening)
 
I love to go for a walk and swim, I find this very calming .... appreciating gods creation and beauty taking in the nature he has created.

also holding my cat
having peace and quiet
cooking and cleaning in the kitchen
organising things & sorting things out
smelling certain perfumes
drinking a cup of tea
walking on the beach getting fresh air

3. I never really smoked a lot but when I did, it was either because I wanted to calm down and relax
or I wanted to think "better". I'm still glad I quit though. :)

i once knew a girl who would pour a giant bowl of lucky charms whenever she got rattled. a guy friend of mine will watch a certain sketch comedy show.

i've got my own semi-quirky rituals, and i'm sure many of you do too.

This song (instrumental guitar) always calms me and if its playing in my mind when I'm thinking of something bittersweet or while gazing at something beautiful it can drive me to tears..

I bought a relaxation tape once to try calm me. Sound of the ocean waves. when I played the tape, there was nothing on it. So I took it back to the shop/store. I told him I played the tape and nothing, oh he said the tide was out, LOl. hehe.

I think a nice coastal walk calms me down a lil.
 
I normally will open my Bible to a random page and start reading from there, or watch Billy Graham on Youtube. Thats when the weather is bad. During the summer i sit on my front porch and just get lost in my thoughts.
 
When I was 5 or 6 we lived by a Railroad Track. I loved the sound of the Train on the Track and the sound of the Whistle.

We live now by the same track different House, a little futher, but I love that sound every time I hear it. Brings back memories.
