Hello Shilo,

There are other obvious characteristics as to why Jerusalem cannot be the woman who rides the beast, that city that sits on seven hills, that city that rules over the kings of the earth. But those aside, there is one great big gigantic problem as to why Jerusalem cannot be city of Rev. 17 & 18, which is revealed in chapter 18. Can you identify the reason?

Is it just me or does that woman in the video look like Michael Jackson?

For crying out loud, just when i finally settled down on the 14th scenario i've studied out, then this one comes along. Very compelling.....but so were the others. Signed: Frustrated. Smile!

Are you serious?! This scripture and one other demonstrate the opposite i.e. that Jerusalem, because of the above scripture cannot be Jerusalem and I will explain why later tonight.

Hello Shilo,

37 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.

This scripture from the word is just one of the things that points to Jerusalem

First of all, though Israel did kill the prophets sent to her, the "killing of the prophets" it is not unique to Jerusalem.

"The woman you saw is that great city that rules over the kings of the earth"

At the time that John was receiving this information from the angel, Jerusalem was not that city that ruled over the kings of the earth, not then nor throughout the last 2000 years. Also, Jerusalem is not going to rule during that last seven years. How do we know this? Because in the middle of the seven years, that antichrist is going to set up that abomination that causes the desolation where Israel flees Jerusalem and the area of Judea out into the desert to that place prepared for her by God (Mt.24:15-21, Rev.12:6,14). But these are lesser proofs. The real proof that Jerusalem is not mystery Babylon can be deduced from the following:

The beast and the ten kings destroy the woman who rides the beast, Mystery, Babylon the great:
"
And the ten horns and the beast that you saw will hate the prostitute. They will leave her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For God has put it into their hearts to carry out His purpose by uniting to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. And the woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”

The Results of the Beast and the Ten Kings Destruction upon the Woman, that great city:

* The music of harpists and musicians, pipers and trumpeters, will never be heard in you again.
* No worker of any trade will ever be found in you again.
* The sound of a millstone will never be heard in you again.
* The light of a lamp will never shine in you again.
* The voice of bridegroom and bride will never be heard in you again.

According to the scripture above, no one will ever inhabit Mystery Babylon, that great city, ever again

"When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

The scripture above takes place at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ. Notice that when Satan gathers those people, Gog and Magog, that it states that they "surround the camp of God's people, the city that he loves." The city that He loves could only be referring to Jerusalem, which demonstrates that at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ, that there are people inhabiting Jerusalem. Since scripture reveals that Mystery Babylon is destroyed and never to be inhabited again, then Jerusalem which is shown to be inhabited during and at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ, then Jerusalem could not possibly be
Mystery Babylon.

The very last verse of Revelation 17 tells us the "woman" of that chapter, the "whore", the Babylon harlot, is a "great city".

The reason the cities of the nations will fall with her, is because she will be the center of control over them.

Mystery Babylon does indeed represent a global false worship in all nations at the end. Ancient Babylon is where false idol worship began, which is why it's a name applies to the whole system of the children of darkness for this present world, which is what the mystery part is about.

In Rev.18 we are told the she says this of herself which also gives the location of what city in the end it is:

Rev 18:77 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, "I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow."
KJV

A queen that says she is not a widow means what? It means she is MARRIED. A "great city" that says she is no widow, meaning she is married?

Where in God's Word does that analogy of marrying a city originate?

Well, it doesn't relate to the city of Babylon in Isaiah 47 where she called herself a "lady" (mistress), and was called "The lady of kingdoms". That's not a claim of a queen that is married ("am no widow") per Mystery Babylon's claim in Rev.18:7.
Here is the city that is declared a "widow":

Lam 1:1-4
1:1 How doth the city sit solitary, that was full of people how is she become as a widow she that was was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary
2 She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies.
3 Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude: she dwelleth among the heathen, she findeth no rest: all her persecutors overtook her between the straits.
4 The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness.
KJV

That above is about Jerusalem there in Lamentations. She became like a widow when God brought the king of Babylon upon her and took the house of Judah captive to Babylon for 70 years.

But still, where does the symbolic analogy of a city being married come from in God's Word??? Here:

Ezek 16:2-8
2 Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.
4 And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.

5 None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the lothing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.
6 And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, 'Live'; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, 'Live.'
7 I have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou hast increased and waxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned, and thine hair is grown, whereas thou wast naked and bare.
8 Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread My skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest Mine.
KJV

Then Jerusalem fell into idol worship with the nations and peoples around her, which God then said this about Jerusalem
Ezek 16:35-38
35 Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD:
36 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;
37 Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.
38 And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.
KJV

That Ezek.16 analogy shows God spiritually married Jerusalem when He chose her. The analogy of the queen and widow of Rev.18:7 is also about Jerusalem for the end of this world.

Now then, with that Scripture evidence you've got what's needed to piece together the analogy of the "great city" of Rev.18 saying she sits a queen, and is no widow.

If she is "no widow" it means she is married, but to whom? Not God, for He is pronouncing His judgment upon the Babylon harlot of the Rev.17 & 18. Furthermore, the city of Rev.21 is whom God will marry, the new Jerusalem which will only come after Mystery Babylon is destroyed.

There is another one in God's stead coming to Jerusalem to marry her for the end. That's why she says she is a queen and no widow. That's why the Babylon harlot of Revelation is about Jerusalem, and not any other city.

The Babylon harlot of Revelation is about Jerusalem by DP Christian chat

Hello Shilo,

In answer to your question, God has given us some very good clues in the book of Revelation as to who the woman is.

1). The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”

At the time that John was receiving this information from the angel, Rome was that city that ruled over the kings of the earth.

2). With her the kings of the earth committed adultery, and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries

When Israel would go after the god's of the surrounding nations, it was said that they were committing adultery i.e. spiritual adultery. Here is said that the kings of the earth commit adultery with the woman, as well as the inhabitants of the earth being intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries. Figuratively, her being guilty of spiritual immorality is defined as "to be unfaithful to Christ, while posing as His true follower." That it is stated that the kings of the earth are committing spiritual immorality with her and the inhabitants being intoxicated, is in reference to them participating in the woman's spiritual immorality i.e. engaging in her unfaithful practices against Christ.

3). The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits

Rome was literally built on and is famous for her seven hills. The seven hills upon which the woman sits, which is a city, is in reference to the woman's headquarters.

4). The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls

th

As you can see, purple and scarlet are the exact colors worn by bishops and cardinals within the Roman Catholic institution.

5). a The woman sits upon many waters
b. The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.

In #3 we saw that the woman's headquarters is on seven hills. Here it states that the woman sits upon many waters. The waters representing peoples, multitudes, nations and languages. This is in reference to the woman's world-wide influence of her spiritual immorality.

So to recap, the woman is a city, which sits on seven hills of which Rome was literally built on and is famous for. She is said to be dressed in purple and scarlet, which are the exact colors worn by the bishops and cardinals within Roman Catholicism. She is said to sit on many waters, which is figurative for the influence of her world-wide spiritual immorality that the kings of the earth and its inhabitants will be/are participating in. Roman Catholicism is claiming to be the true church of Christ. But with just a cursory look at her and it is apparent that the woman is counterfeit.

Maryism - the worship of Mary as co-redeemer, co-savior, prayed to and immaculately conceived (free from original sin) and regarded as the queen of heaven, just to named a few.

The ritual of the Eucharist
- The RCC changed the two elements of bread and wine, which the Lord instituted and polluted it by changing it to one element (the Eucharist), believing in the teaching of transubstantiation where the priest calls Christ down out of heaven who enters the Eucharist so that the partaker is literally eating the flesh and blood of the Lord.

The sacraments -
In the true church of Christ, the believer is saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ who paid the penalty for the believers sins, completely and fully. In contrast, within Roman Catholicism when a person receives Christ and is baptized, only original sin and the sins committed up to being baptized are absolved. All sin committed after baptism is through the grace of God which is meted out through the priest, absolution being obtained via the sacraments, which is works based. Regarding this, scripture states that we are saved by grace through faith and this not by our own efforts. It is the gift of God, not by works so that no one can boast.

Purgatory - According to the RCC, even the best Catholic must spend time in purgatory for any sins left unabsolved during life, which are purged by fire. No one knows how long a person must remain in purgatory. But by paying to have masses performed one can have loved ones prayed for to shorten their time. There are also what is called "Indulgences" where by the paying of money, a loved ones time in purgatory may be shortened. I assume that those stoking the fires in purgatory, if enough money is paid, can heat up the fires and thereby purge the person quicker.

Egyptian Obelisk -
This should be a red flag right out of box, that there is an Egyptian obelisk sitting right at the front door of what is supposed to be the true church of Christ. There is just no apologetic, no justification, no explanation that can be rendered as to why this pagan artifact should be associated with the church.

To my knowledge there are four different Bulletproof, rock solid, different scenarios to identify them.

Lol

I believe at this point Jerusalem fits the harlot and ISIS as a part of the Beast

This is not true, for God has a purpose for Israel to restore the kingdom to them in the millennial reign of Christ, and will send them two witnesses to turn the nation of Israel to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah.

In the book of Daniel chapter 7,it speaks of 4 beasts,Babylon,Medo-Persia,Greece,and the Roman Empire, the first three beasts will never have dominion again, but their ways are still on earth, but the 4th beast, the Roman Empire, does not lose her dominion until Jesus puts them down,so the physical dominion is the Roman Empire, with the ways of Babylon-human religion,Medo-Persia-physical cruelty,Greece-human wisdom, and it is Babylon in spirit, for they represent human religion.

The Roman Empire has the dominion until Jesus puts them down, which the 10 horns come from the Roman Empire, the world split in to 10 sections with a leader in each section, and the little horn, the beast, comes from the 10 horns.

Babylon has nothing to do with Jerusalem, and God said that He is going to gather all nations together against Jerusalem, and then punish those nations for going against Jerusalem, and the Jews.

Since the Roman Empire has the dominion,it would appear as if the Vatican would be considered Babylon, and the Pope the spiritual leader of a unified religious system.
