I think you need to make sure to pay attention what part of the forum you're posting in. This section of the forum is to offer ideas to improve the site, forums and chat features. You post would be more well suited in the Misc. Forums.

Also, during Christmas we had 1000 Santa Claus threads. The whole topic was really over killed and mostly produced nothing good but lots of arguments and tension. Hopefully this one gets ignored and we don't have to rehash all that nasty behavior.

I'm new as it shows, but one of the things i see that makes it difficult to work the Threds are the GIANT VIDEOS allowed.....any way to either make them smaller or Go AWAY? Just a suggestion

I know no way of making videos not show in the threads, but there aren't that many put up for the most part, and they don't play unless you choose to play them, so it shouldn't really be effecting anything.
Far as the size, that is the stand size for a Youtube video, which is where they're linked from.
I've not heard of anyone having problems with the videos in the threads.

If you're referring to the videos within each topic - post by post - then there is. But since the CC forums use the link rather than the embed code, I'm not sure what the protocol is to minimize them, and unfortunately, only the person that posted the video has direct control over the dimensions of the player (unless a mod edits the post to shrink down the video). :)
