Technically, the ability to write and the art of conveying ideaswell. Any can be a “writer”, but something makes few of them to be popular, just by drawing people's attention.Any can be a music “player”, but few are real musicians. A writer isthat one who writes a lot and has piles of papers written with things but, theart is pending on the colors his/her adjectives gives to actions, things orpersons spoken of.

Josh is at the militaryservice. Today I recommended him to be careful, because “I don't want to begrandfather” and he promised that won't be yet (Thanks God if so). Itold him a couple of my recent “love” affairs, while he showed to besmart and reluctant. I begged him to pray for God's direction: We can seefaces, and never each heart... A writer has the thoughts of any, but he/she has the chance to writethem down quickly, with the hutch or the feeling they often come to be felt orconsidered. There are many chances when he/she gets enticed and forgets towrite to freeze some ideas or notions, and sometimes I have some memories, withits feelings, I cannot convey to portray as words. Yes! There is some regret for the missing records I did not kept. There are feelings I considered eternally lost, but life is like a waving oceanthat often brings to the seashore of mind memories to be written or live upagain. There is something compulsory. Sometimes one things makes you writefor minutes or hours. Something meaningless changes to be important, and Icannot tell you why one thing changes each time you try to understand it towrite down. Sometimes in my hut, that one I own to bring me peace of mind, becomes a river of ideas where I cannot stop drinking. I remember the time Iwent there the first and I felt that was made “specially” for me. That wasalone! No neighbor around, so it was my place (not now). I can breath a sighremembering those 10 years I enjoyed the land, the woods and everything: I wishI can write. The only thing I miss there is the electricity. Living arounddimming candle lights is not my idea, but I cannot change my present withdreams and don't to leave all my papers forgotten, over a piled table with hardto read handwritten rubbish. I guess writers like the honor to be read because this is like beingheard for decades. Perhaps no many seek fame, but some money and, my case, isto be known by my children or whomever I may like just one page. My kids do not like to write or read, but I hope that will chancesame way it happened to me. I remember some dreams I had and some where finallydone, not like I would have planned. I don't know if my age or the rainy season helped me to stay in bed.I often take minutes (or hours) thinking or praying laid in bed and, when Iwake up, I gently brush my teeth same way, up to the moment I need water towash my mouth. I don't remember when I got with this habit, and I'm glad I haveno one to criticize it. Will you now? (He! He!). Too often my pillow looked very attentive to me. She tries to payattention to each of my thoughts or to whatever I might have thought to say. She's loyal enough to keep the secrets she keeps and I know she won't sayanything to you, but I have liked how she has backed me up with some of myideas (or dreams). I've have heard how some people like to cry over their pillows andtheir tears cannot be mute when leaving these feathers wet. You can cry yourshouts on that cotton, but this fellow companion won't say a word you wouldlately regret. Pillows are not certainly deaf! But they won't tell you secretsof daydreamer. I believe she hears my thoughts. I like the way she looked at me insilence and it would be okey if I dare to give her a name (what aboutMónica?). Mónica is a nice name, and that reminds me of those who have savedmy life by being friendly supportive. I don't deserve those who have come intomy life, and these are worthy of the good things they have done (for me amany). A pillow cannot give you an advice, just find out one Monica and tell melater she is gold or a gem. Pillows are cushions to lessen some pressures and very few peopledislike having one, at least. Tear shed cannot be muted, but some cries stillbeing heard compassionately. Silence in that mountain is different. Peace takes its pace far fromcities and I can hear my heart softly beating, and the pulse itself has itsheart breathing. A writer knows his/her heart with the experience of years. A“writer” like me knows his needs, his lacks and longs, and seeks for realsatisfaction. Do I know I came here to be an angel? Do I honor God despisingmyself, the only good I owned? We're very well told not to love world. That's true! But I'm a worldly thing who likes its own. I would like to know more worlds orthe entire cosmos, but life it's limited in time and space, and I don'tremember hearing His direct voice telling be “do this” or “go thisaddress”: I learnt the hard way! Same way like many of you. Sin is thething I have to hate! I have to avoid sinning, same way any would avoid beinghurt. For instances, look at Job writings. Was he writing from his lack ofexperience? Was he real or an invention? As a writer, did he lack the emotionalbackground of what he wrote or heard? A poem often comes from a hunch of feeling. An idea becomes a desireand a person spurs things that can be true. Who writes a poem without theexperience of a feeling? A composer can write without an emotion? Let's say Beethoven was deaf in his late years, but he never lackedthe notion to write music or his feelings. This week I watched a movie (“Coraline”, a Focus Features / LaikaEntertainment / Pandemonium production). It's basedon a novel written by Neil Gaiman (Ed. Harper Collins Publishers, 2002), and I liked the psychology I see and heard there. Has anybodynoticed the attention we have drifted from family? We love gold or pleasures, but we tend to leave people alone and out of the way... Each time Coraline felt alone she took a picture of two friends sheleft and said: “Don'tforget about me, guys”. Have any of you ever feltthat? That sounded me like a common prayer and, of course, the movie-novelis not Christianized, because it has several elements of magic like Disney'sstories (but that human longing is universal as loneliness). In Coraline's movie I see two parents isolated in their jobs ofwriters and a lonely girl who was born by “accident”, as not being desired. Howmany were grown that way? (I did not received the attention I would have wishedfrom my parents). Sometimes I tried to give my children attention and, in my opinion, they'veliked money instead of love, and I know what I don't have to give. Why do we need to be remembered? Why do I need to be known buy mysons? I writer leaves the testimony of his/her ideas and the teaching ofwhat he is learning. I wish I had given more, but rare things hinder my wayssame way as yours. Perhaps no many people want to be admired, but look that God alsowants recognition. Read the Bible and see the many times He has said “I AMalmighty” or I DID this to be known. He is not selfish, butGod has His ego, same way we have ours: I am me! (You are you) and without God we cannot safely live. Satan is a liar. He insists on tellinghumans we can live without God pleasing our selfish beings, hurtingothers and causing all type of human mess: I wish I had all those goodqualities God has in stock for His chosen ones. I wish I could hear Hispersonal voice to be directed, guided, but I'm deaf as stones and, what Ilearn, I learn from experiences and from others. Imagine a writer with no experience, what is he going to write? Heis a reader, instead. Coraline movie tells me a good thing I have to keep in mind. Theother mother told her, in the living room: “They say even the proudestspirit can be broken with love”. Is this totallytrue? Yesterday, while I was cloning a HDD, Francis told me a storyconnected to her parents and, to resume all she said, it dealt with sorceryused to separate her father from her mother. Is this being used to separateChristians from the Bible and its good teachings? Many people like reading thick books connected to sexed vampires, eternal youth and romantic things; but few are willing to spend half an hourreading the Bible and few go to a Bible study outside the church. I gave my brother A.G. a copy of the movie, and he gave me in turnmore info I can read or discuss about these topics. Why are so many peopledrawn to occultism? What's the reason we seldom pray and try to live up insteadof waiting for God's hands? I heard subliminal words on “Why born” (Wyborne) or at “whybe” (Wybie). This is not my mother tongue but I think it a field wheresome have researched. To be continued...
