Everything the Church does is according to what she hears and sees from Jesus, moved by His power and seeking to know Him better:

  • “Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.” (Revelation 21.6).

Jesus, not only is the Beginning (Truth) to the End (eternal Life - 1 John 5:20), but also the Way that leads Truth to Life:

  • “Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (John 14.6).

This is understandable:

  • “For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He [y]is before all things, and in Him all things hold together..” (Colossians 1.16,17).
  • “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.” (Romanos 11.36).

This means that the Church is only authorized to act:

  • *after hearing Jesus' guidance*. Who doesn’t wish to be devoured by the fire of the Creator, needs to recall that Jesus is the First (everything needs to start in Him - Revelation 22.13);
  • *the way Jesus directed*. We have no right to do things our way, according to the methods of the world;
  • *aiming only to know Jesus better and glorify His name*. We must never seek Jesus for personal interests, since we must lose our life in this world in order to find it in Christ (Matt 10.39; Col 3.3).

So, may Jesus be our everything. Have a prodigious day in Christ Jesus.
 
Not many " churches" do the works of Christ in this age!

The Bride,The Church ,and The Body to me is the righteousness of Jesus imitated in his followers.

IMO all the above are seperate from the " churches" of today.

May his Bride,church and body have their lamps trimmed and extra oil for the return of our groom!
