Continues to choose to offend God? Is this person even saved?

Hebrews 10:26-30
[26] For if we sin wilfully after having the knowledge of the truth, there is now left no sacrifice for sins, [27] But a certain dreadful expectation of judgment, and the rage of a fire which shall consume the adversaries. [28] A man making void the law of Moses, dieth without any mercy under two or three witnesses: [29] How much more, do you think he deserveth worse punishments, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath esteemed the blood of the testament unclean, by which he was sanctified, and hath offered an affront to the Spirit of grace? [30] For we know him that hath said: Vengeance belongeth to me, and I will repay. And again: The Lord shall judge his people.

What Happens if a Christian, who Professes to be Saved,

what does the word profess mean -----a person can profess they are this or that but are they really ---that is the Question -----

So to profess a thing may not mean the person is really saved -----

KJV Dictionary Definition: profess
profess
PROFESS', v.t. L. professus, profiteor; pro and fateor.

1. To make open declaration of; to avow or acknowledge.

Let no man who professes himself a christian, keep so heathenish a family as not to see God by daily worshipped in it.

They profess that they know God, but in works they deny him. Tit.1.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
True Saved Christians are to show they are bearing good fruit ------through their works and Character ----

True Christians will still sin but they will also not want to grieve the Holy Spirit and will do their very best to stay away from sin ------and God's Grace will help the person cast down the though to sin if we ask for that help -----God said to Paul ----My Grace is sufficient --in your weakness my Grace is your strength ----
---------------------------------------------------------
Hebrews 10:26-30
[26] For if we sin wilfully after having the knowledge of the truth, there is now left no sacrifice for sins,
So if the person Professes to be saved and still sins all the time without feeling guilty or caring that they are grieving the Holy Spirit then all they are not truly saved ------

And here is the thing ----- People who listen to their Professed Christian Minister who say the God's love will save you or that doing good things for your neighbour or your church will save you ---will think they are saved because they treat others good and they don't hurt people and that A God of Love would never send anyone to hell ----So the Church ---then are being deceived by a person who is suppose to be Preaching the Truth of the Word and are unable to do so because they themselves are not saved -----

The people setting in the pews are only as Knowledgeable as what they are being Told by the Minister who they look up to and trust to preach the Truth ------so there are many who profess to be saved Christians when they truly are not saved at all because their Minister is not saved and is deceiving their Flock by preaching twisted or watered Down Doctrine and sending their Flock straight to hell in their end -----

That is why every person needs to read the scriptures and know them well so they know where they are being deceived and when they are not -----your eternal home depends on it -----

We are here temperately ---where we end up after this life is forever ------so it is important to get to the right Spiritual destination when our time here is finished -----

the quote you used sort of answers the question for believers but will just cause an argument for others

it’s the willful part that matters willful sin is one thing sinning from ignorance and weakness against one’s Will is another thing one leads to repentance and remission of sin the other doesn’t

“Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭7:9-10‬ ‭

to recognize we sinned and repent is salvation to know we are sinning and continually refuse to repent is willful sin

We all continue to sin so we would all be excluded if it simply means to sin again. So it must be referring to sin that isn't acknowledged as sin and, thus, never repented of.
As Christians we are called to strive against sin. This implies we are able recognize sin and able to forego it.
Here the help of the Holy Spirit is invaluable in convicting us both of our sin but also empowering us to resist and overcome.
It is possible by one's will and discipline to control outward expressions of sin, while at the same time have a heart filled with sin. Such was the case of the Pharisees. Outwardly they were whited sepulchers but inwardly full of dead men's bones.
Such people will inevitably fall away from the faith at some point.
There is another group who having made a profession of faith and prayed for salvation seem to begin well but fall away.
This is largely due to the fact that preachers have told many that if they say a prayer and believe a few tenets of the faith they are saved. Their faith is actually in their actions and not the Lord Jesus Christ.
In true salvation the whole person is engaged...When they heard this...mind...they were pricked in the heart... heart...and said...will. A gifted speaker can influence a person's mind and will and produce a response but there is no salvation unless God engages the heart.
This is one of the reasons why there may be so many people in churches today who have a profession of faith with no real possession of faith.
