Today I visited Amsterdam!!! I had a meeting with my Dutch collegues. I like to visit other cities and explore. I've never seen Amsterdam covered in snow. Made my day very nice, so I'm happy!
 
I want to go to Amsterdam some day (I want to to go to a lot of places...)

hmm, today I am happy because... I seldom feel happy happy to be honest, but I know many reasons to be happy

Even though I live far from my family, i DO HAVE a family who loves me
I have at least three friends I can share anything with
I am healthy enough not to suffer
I have money for clothes, rent, heat, water, food and even a bit on the side
I can go to school and learn about subjects that interest me
My country is not at war
thus far, I am allowed to freely believe in God and attend church, not fearing persecution

wow... I should actually be very happy!

Sounds like you aren't. Hope you'll be happy soon. I know a solution: I bet if you read this, you'll laugh :D. I'm right, not???
 
hehe... now I am thinking about beein philosophical and saying that you can laugh without being happy... :p

I'm not saying I am sad, I just seldom feel happy either.. need to wake myself up a bit I think
 
some people have extreme ups matched by extreme downs

others like me just have small ripples

if i did experience a huge high i probly could not handle it
 
I can still get the lows though :( the highs I haven't had since I was a kid I think.. but the again when I do get happy it's usually over small things, like sunsets and rain :)

sunlight controls melatonin, the thing that controls the sleep cycle and to a certain extent serotonin

so yeah...
 
I am happy that I had only one smallish panic attack and it was on the way home from work!!!! I have been back to work and stayed all day for three whole days now. And most importantly God loves me.

Due to the rain, I don't have to go to church and help clean.
 
I always enjoyed going to youth group.

getting those doors and chairs moved out of the clothes closet room made me happy.
