Maybe you need a dog catcher judging from your Finnish wording?😂
A dog catcher? If I were Finnish, I'd have resorted to barking for communication, because I would never have grasped the language.

If your FB reels about the Finns affinity for their neighbours is anything to go by, I'd have growled a lot too, like a stray dog and been impounded already.

I tried to make over my house as a daycare centre....but it's too hard and takes too long. I am considering joining the Baby-sitters Club instead. The pay might be better, hopefully more than $7 an hour.

Working from home is getting tiring, I think I'd like to work in another home that my mum left us, except, that's going to take lots of work. My brother's answer is to demolish the house and let the property developers build 3 houses on the property, that are two storeys high and grab the money once sold and go. But I'm like...what if I want somewhere to live?? And a garden?
And who's gonna buy a house down a shared driveway with room for only one car in each and no room for guests and no off-street parking and no back or front yard? That shades the other homes in the neighbourhood and may possibly collapse in 5 years time thanks to shoddy builders who are still building leaky homes.

I'm not very optimistic.
Any takers???
yes. the "take the money and run" strategy is becoming more popular and instituted. especially if you live in america. for your situation, which is personal in family, consult an accountant, real estate person and a lawyer. make sure to check past, present and future values of homes and land. many reasons why. increasingly, the government is gaining more control on it's citizens. and think of the control they have that you never thought of. in this area, you have to know some intelligence insiders. interests come and fade away. age is a big concern. long range financial-retirement planning must be considered. ask around, eventually you'll meet a professional in all areas. i wish for you and your family wisdom in thinking this thru and the proper choice made. blessings to you. even though i lived in america my whole life, it definitely isn't the great place to live in as believed by millions of people. yes, it may be the best place to live in the world, or close to it, but it's ongoing problems are numerous. big changes are ongoing in the antique business which i am involved in. we all had to change our strategy in buying and selling. most items are not hot in the market anymore. in recent years, i've had $1,000's of merch to unload. i'm selling it but it's taking years to offload. some items i am selling are without profit, just getting my purchase price back! this year, i now am involved in residential real estate and land brokerage. just so happens my long time friend in business who is a real-estate agent is working with me. he's tops in the area too. i'll complete my 1st deal in early July. so, to some it all up, everything about what you are going thru has to be constantly monitored. you never know when national or local changes will occur.

I ordered 103 packets of seeds for my garden club. When they come in I'm going to have to sort them all as everyone bought different ones.

A Finnish acquaintance already warned me how repeating this tongue twister is 1 of 13 ways to annoy her. Insulting the Moomins is another... 😆
I don't care if people don't like those white mozzarella meat balls that live in some crazy valley ..and that valley sure doesn't seem to have all the Moomins in there...
but insult Fazer's blue (chocolate) is a whooole another thing for me!

Waiting on my deliveries now.

My brother is going to get the surveyors come to see the property on Wednesday. As per my request, they also drew up a plan for just two houses, instead of three. Can't fit three, unless one is a duplex, but even that's a stretch.
I walked around a different suburb last week and saw how many houses, or housing, was being built in other areas. Now people are building 'townhouses' and terrace housing, which is not detached, but all stuck together. I can't imagine why people would live in them, unless they couldn't afford anything better. Noisy, crowded, and like living in Coronation Street, except without the Rovers Return and no public transport. No room for trees, no backyard, nowhere to hang your washing.
Potentially leaky, with no catchment, eaves, or allowance for drainage. Possibly plumbing issues.

But who cares, as long as it makes money right? People do need a roof over their heads, after all. We couldn't possibly have another GFC because those houses will not be sold as sub-prime housing right?

Think she's busy

Well I haven't been doing that much. People are always interested in what I do, but I think talking about my life isn't that interesting for them, or me. Gosh people are nosy!!

I'd rather talk about the weather

today, made breakfast for mrs. wife & i, attended a bunch of garage sales, bought some items, will clean them later, checked latest computer news, went shopping for us, put those groceries in their proper places, now i'm going to complete a small landscape job. then i will assist 3 ladies & 2 men in setting up for a huge family reunion that we will be attending tomorrow.

Summer days are for lazing around in the shade eating ice cream/frozen popsicles cos it's too hot to do much!

Good to hear you back Tazzo.

It's winter here, but thankfully not too wintry as live in Aucks, so no snow, only frosty mornings. Sometimes fog. Good time to hibernate during the long nights and short days. Can't do too much in the garden.

Thank you Suze ❤️
In this summer I have been so busy and when I am not busy I'm just tired... 😅
