What I feel about parables!

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field,
which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells
all that he has and buys that field.

What is the treasure that Jesus talks about?

maybe this [man] in that verse is God, who gave up all [He] had, the Word.
What would have happened if the devil prevailed in the wilderness, or Christ not raised.

(Malachi 3:17)“And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts,
(in that day) when [I make up my jewels]; and I will spare them,
as a man spareth his own son that serveth him”

The word jewels is a bad translation. A better translation is
God’s “special treasure.” Why are these people so special?
God says He will “spare them as a man spares his own son”

The book mentioned here is not the book of life. It is the book of remembrance
(Malachi 3:16). Most commentaries state that this refers to a minority of God’s
people. A remnant fear God, and their names are in a “book of remembrance.”

(Daniel 12:11).The word “sacrifice” is in italics in the King James Version,
That means the translators added it. The only word that Daniel used is daily.

The Cambridge Bible reads,“the continual shall be taken away.”
Maybe the continual work of the church [open door], or the falling away.

The Laodicean, or lukewarm, churches fail to continue doing God’s Work.

Jesus said the field is the world. I think it is us. He bought the field with His blood because He treasured us.

Quite correct, but the New Covenant was made to both nations of Israel, before they rejected him and we were grafted in...

That's the thing about parables. Can mean several things. We just need to define the symbols the same and then truth pops up. lol

Actually, I think exactly the opposite.

Jesus used parables so that people would not understand Him and were not healed.

He explained the parables to His elected ones, but a "better understanding" is not the point of parables.

The whole bIble is a parable .The eternal kinddom of God not seen is revealed by the temporal things he made.

Better as in spiritual the eternal, lesser as literal the temporal . They accomplished two things… one hide the spiritual understanding from the lost and two reveal it to those who have eternal life .Together they are called the multitude (everyone) Without parables (comparing the things seen to the things not seen) Christ the living word of God spoke not to the multitude. Parables signify as a sign the things not seen using the things seen the temporal 2Co 4:18 is the key that unlocks the parables.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2Co 4:18

The whole book of Revelation is one continuous parable used to signify, show by using a sign using the literal like a literal key to speak of the unseen. gospel that unlocks the gates of hell or a literal soul with no head as one under the headship of their husband Christ or a literal thousand to signify a unknown number, or a literal chain to represent the spiritual binding and the judgment is not reversible using a literal bottomless pit to signify no end, .never to rise to new spirit life forever more

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Rev 1:1

He uses Alfa and Omega to represent the I Am, not the I was, or I will be

The Lord’s day to point to the last day hearing the voice of the trumpet the metaphor describing the voice of God indicating it is the last day, judgment for the world, the second and last resurrection for the believers
