John 14:10, highlights different persons in one God
2 Corinthians 3:17 highlights how the holy spirit is within God as well

That's great you referenced Genesis 1:26. You are referencing the "creation" of male and female in the same image and likeness as the creator. After God has [created] men and women. Later God "forms" Adam from the dust of the ground and breathed the breath of life and he became a living soul." Those with ears let them hear. The wisdom of God to purposely distinguish between creation in the image and likeness of himself. And afterwards forming man from the dust of the ground. Can you say man versus mankind?
There is not one single scripture in the Gospel where Jesus teaches about the trinity! However you will see Paul teaching and spreading the message of the trinity. But I choose to follow in the footsteps of the master. There is only 1 God!
