it is a made-up term by legalists who do not like that FACT that we are saved solely by the Grace of God toward us.
Christ dying on the cross and resurrecting for us to be reconciled to God. It was undeserved and unmerited, it was hyper grace. 
For all the sins we have His grace is sufficient because His blood is sufficient in paying the penalty of our sins. Hyper-grace is simply the Gospel the apostle Paul preached, the Gospel that acknowledges that we are saved by grace through faith and not by merit or works.

Hyper grace is new man made phrase to place people who take advantage of God's grace and use it as a ticket to sin.
The phrase hyper grace comes from over abundance of God's grace making those who actually fit the bill not aware of their sins because they relish in the vastness of his grace not taking responsibility for their own mistakes and thus do not have a repentant heart.
Often times however many are called hyper gracers under false presumption, I have been called a hyper gracer myself but I do not take advantage of his grace and I don't see it as a free ticket to do as I please

Hyper-grace has been falsely accused as a license to sin by people who have misunderstood its early proponents. Hyper-grace is not a term for licentiousness, or a term to define an abuse of God's grace. In fact, it exalts Jesus Christ and gives Him credit for all that He truly accomplished for us, both in standing and practicality.
PS: Yes there are people who use Hyper-Grace as a term for abusing God's grace but that is erroneous and done in ignorance to the truth.

I have been a Christian for 25 yrs and have NEVER met or heard of a person that believes solely in the Grace of our Lord, that believes it's ok to sin.
ONLY people HERE have ever said that. Mostly because they just can't believe that Christ paid for ALL our sins.
I was merely explaining what the meaning of hyper grace is according to those who use it because those of us who are called hyper gracers do not see the meaning of this phrase as others might. The term hyper gracer is as in the old days when the believers were called Christians a word to insult but those who are free in God's grace would never even think to abuse it and thus the term hyper gracer with it's original meaning loses it's value however in order for him to understand what the term means I had to explain it as it is used not as it is
Understood. I guess my point was to clarify for his sake, so that he would not be misinformed in regards to the truth instead of defamation.
There is no such thing as hyper grace. There is only grace. And per order of the mods, we are not to make threads debating hyper grace, which this thread WILL eventually degrade into.
It's a good thing you did because with my explanation alone it might misguide him in what hyper grace is
I didn't know the mods made it where no hyper grace threads could be made at all, I mean i respect the mods decision but isn't that kind of like silencing and limiting?
Without discernment and understanding yes stay far away from any and all discussions of such, hyper grace is one of those sensitive subjects and is meat that many who try to chew it have yet to finish their milk and thus the war threads of this subject is quite abundant
The reason there is apprehension for its discussion and a warning as to not discuss it is that it has been discussed for months, if not longer, and it basically was pervading ever single thread. The warning is not in regards to its validity but because its been over-discussed to the degree people felt overburdened. The meat of it is Law versus Grace. An important discussion but one that has been drawn out on this site.

It's not godly grief until people turn toward something liberating. It's just grief.
Matt 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Jesus points people to what's in front of them.
You said: "people not aware of their sins fit the bill"
And this is a broken mindset.
Because the REAL issue isn't that people aren't aware of their sins, it's that they are not aware of their freedom.
If you want people to truly repent show them freedom is possible and in front of them so they can turn toward it.
And it's possible through grace. That some would call ever abounding or "hyper".

It's ok buddy you simply wanted to understand this term and it's not like we can't ask questions to gain understanding and i am sure the mods know the intent of your thread and thus you have done no harm. The reason the mods made hyper grace threads discontinued was because many would purposely create them to cause strife seeing that this subject made war threads of over 77 pages and combined with the many war threads of hyper grace made the forums was in utter chaos but you have done no such thing
