What is it necessary to be saved (Part 22).

Finally, we need to know that the grace (Jesus working in us and through us – Phil 2.12,13) save through the faith (Eph 2.8,9), that is to say, through our confidence in Christ. So, let’s hold fast to the grace trusting on Jesus:

  • “Therefore, receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us hold fast to the grace, by which we serve God, pleasing him with reverence and godly fear:” (Hebrews 12.28)

I know that, many times, this is difficult, because, as it was said yesterday, this implies in being chased after and, perhaps, suffering or dying for Jesus’ sake (1Pe 4.12-19):

  • “And preaching the gospel to that city, and having made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and Iconium and Antioch, confirming the souls of the disciples, calling on them to continue in the faith and that through much tribulation we must enter into the kingdom of God.” (Acts 14.21,22)

Nevertheless, how worthy is the life living such as those who disparage Jesus Christ (that is to say, working to stay alive and, in the intervals, try to find a little of pleasure)?

Furthermore, take heed of what Peter uttered:

  • “each one as he received a gift, ministering it to yourselves as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” (1Pe 4:10).

We are stewards (as in Luke 16.1), not of the faith of Christ, nor of the miracles of Christ, etc., but of Jesus’ manifold grace and His mysteries (1Corinthians 4.1). That is to say, our role is to administer the Creator’s grace so that the life of Christ can carry out its work within people around us so that they can be part of the mystery of Christ, to wit, His body (Col 1.26,27).

Founded on this, instead of we accusing people before the Creator, trying to change Lamb’s nature (make Him wrath against those who scathe us – Rev 6.16), let’s face each unpleasant moment as an opportunity to make Jesus’ abundant and manifold grace show itself much more powerful than the sin, regardless of its nature.

Have a supernatural week in Christ Jesus, always ready and with alacrity to prevail against the sin with Jesus’ grace so that people can have for sure that Jesus and His promises works.
