23 – Our way of walking:
But how can we walk?
May it be clear: obedience isn’t isolated moments in our life, but a style of life, something that we need to abide by on a daily basis and continually (every second). So much so that Jesus didn’t said that the kingdom of heaven is something to be achieved, but to be lived (Matt 6.10; Luke 17.21).
Jesus was clear: although He is our starting and finishing point (Rev 21.6; 22.13), He is, first of all, our way of life that lead us to look like the Father (John 14.6).
Heaven isn’t a physical place to be arrived, but a state of purity and holiness to reached. Our journey here is a soul journey whose target is to arrive to everything that the Father is in character.

- “Whoso *walketh uprightly* shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.” (Proverbs 28:18).
- “Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and *walking in the fear of the Lord*, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.” (Acts 9:31).
- “Also I said, It is not good that ye do: ought ye not to *walk in the fear of our God* because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?” (Neemias 5:9).
- “Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and *ask for the old paths*, where is *the good way*, and *walk therein*, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.” (Jeremiah 6:16).
- “But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and *walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you*, that it may be well unto you.” (Jeremiah 7:23).
