I like the lyrics that were created for this medley a lot:
I try to hold on to my happy childhood memories and JR was a part of that. As soon as I hear him sing Im transported back to when I was a kid, my mum singing to his records, my dad reading the newspaper and my siblings cutting paper to make chains that would stretch from ceiling corner to corner.Jim Reeves?
In my youth, I spent a lot of time at the home of one of my high school friends, and his father would always play songs by Jim Reeves.
I didn't think that anybody in this day and age even knew who Jim Reeves was.

Sorry to go off topic here, but it is no wonder Gary Chapman's name comes up in related searches for Amy Grant.I searched and found Gary Chapman, but not any of his music. He is also Christian musician.
I just subscribed to that channel yesterday! Been enjoying find christmas songs from all over Youtube and my family get all the candles out and we search the lyrics and have our own carols by candlelight
Once in royal David's city Stood a lowly cattle shed,
Where a mother laid her Baby In a manger for His bed:
Mary was that mother mild, Jesus Christ her little Child.
He came down to earth from heaven, Who is God and Lord of all,
And His shelter was a stable, And His cradle was a stall;
With the poor, and mean, and lowly, Lived on earth our Saviour holy.
And our eyes at last shall see Him, Through His own redeeming love;
For that Child so dear and gentle Is our Lord in heaven above,
And He leads His children on To the place where He is gone.
Not in that poor lowly stable, With the oxen standing by,
We shall see Him; but in heaven, Set at God's right hand on high;
When like stars His children crowned All in white shall wait around.
