What is stronger: Jesus’ power to convert the sinner or the power of the nemesis to preclude them to do evil?
I know that it is difficult to see a genuine conversion. Nonetheless, we need to believe in Jesus’ promises and in the Creator:
• Pro 20:22 -> “Do not say, "I will repay evil;" wait on the LORD, and He will save you. .”.
I know that there is much injustice and I, more than everybody, hate this. Nonetheless, do you recall the decree that Caesar Augustus issued when Jesus was born (Luke 2:1)? Everyone should obey, regardless if his wife was pregnant or not? The Roman empire didn’t care about it.
Although this was unrighteous, tyranny, this was necessary to lead Joseph and Mary to fulfill the prophecy, namely, that the Messiah should be born in Bethlehem of Judea.
So, when you are victim of injustice, think that this can be Jesus trying to appoint to you a direction to go, a thing to do or change in order to deliver you from some ordeal or to prepare you for a great blessing.
And, with regard to the instrument of the evil, abide by what Paul said:
• Rom 12:17-19 -> “Do not render to anyone evil for evil, but be prepared to do what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, as much as is your part, be at peace with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves; rather, leave this to God's wrath; for it is written, " 'Vengeance is Mine! I will recompense,' says the Lord.";
• 1Th 5:15 -> “See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone”;
• 1Pe 3:9 -> “Not rendering evil for evil, or abuse for abuse, but instead a blessing, knowing that you were called to this: that you should inherit a blessing.”.
You can be right: the wicked will never go unpunished:
• Deu 32:35 -> “Vengeance and retribution belong to Me. Their foot shall slide in time, for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come on them make haste.' Vengeance and retribution belong to Me. Their foot shall slide in time, for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come on them make haste.'
Thus:
• Pro 24:29 -> “Do not say, "I will do so to him as he has done to me; I will give to the man according to his work."
Have a good day believing that:
• Rom 8:28 -> “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”.
