What is the day of the Lord in Thessalonians 2:1,2?

The evil in Judah was so great that Habakkuk prayed:
• Habakkuk 1:2-4 -> “O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save! Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention. Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.”.
In virtue of this, the Creator answered to Habakkuk that He would send the army of Babylon to punish them (Hab 1:5-11). As they didn’t repent, Nebuchadnezzar made great slaughter in Judah, wreaked havoc Jerusalem and Solomon’s temple and take most of the survivors to Babylon.
And note that the main target was the powerful men. And the reason can be seen below:
• Ezekiel 17:14 -> “That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant it might stand.”.
The idea is that the power of Creator’s people can be Him, in person. So much so that, in the end times, Israel only will be saved when all his physical power is gone:
• Daniel 12:7 -> “And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.”.
So, what is your force? The Creator or the resources of this world (fame, power, wealth, wisdom, etc.)?
So, have a good day being happy with the humble things because, as you can see below, the day of the Creator is against everything or everyone that try to surpass Him:
• Isaiah 2:12-16 -> “ For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low: and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan, and upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up, and upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall, and upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.”.
• Habakkuk 3:6 -> “Habakkuk 3:6 He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.”.
