Belt of Truth
Ephesians 6:14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist (This is not the opinions of the world or the worlds maybe's or I think so) Standing firmly on the word of GOD.
Breast Plate of Righteousness
Ephesians 6:14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place. (The Breastplate guards you heart so that you and CHRIST can stand together as one) Job describes the intimacy of how he wore it.
In the book Job 29:14 I put on righteousness as my clothing; justice was my robe and my turban.
Gospel of peace
Ephesians 6:15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. (This is the Faith building process, the motion of the walk that allows you to move forward towards the light instead of the darkness. For this is the reason why most of us backslide not having a proper foundation or as some would say I slipped)
Shield of Faith
Ephesians 6:16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. (As with Adam and Eve in the beginning and with JESUS CHRIST in the dessert the devil is always working to infiltrate our minds with deceptive practices and while we are using the shield to block those attacks, the flaming arrows, are the ones that hit home. Eve was distracted long enough to cause everlasting devastation. But JESUS has shown each of us through faith in GOD we can resist all enticements. JESUS says I am the way the truth and the light. So our daily walk must be toward the light and GOD will provide. This happened when Joshua was asked to walk in circles for victory.(Joshua 5:13-6:27) When Moses was waiting on GOD to help as people were screaming and GOD told MOSES why are you screaming out to me tell these people to move on, raise your staff and stretch out your hand.
Helmet of Salvation
Ephesians 6:17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. The helmet of salvation can sure come in handy or it would have for King Abimelech had he not gotten hit by a woman who cracked his skull as he were attempting to climb over a wall (Judges 9:53)
Just think if Goliath had on his helmet David’s little rock would have probably bounced off.(1 Samuel 17:40-49) But the helmet as handy as it is wasn't meant to keep rocks out, it is primarily to keep your mind intact and your brains in. We are in a war standing side by side with JESUS CHRIST and HE needs us to be focused on HIM not on them or on yesterday or even tomorrow. Satan is wanting to destroy what GOD has created by any means and the army JESUS has called unto HIMSELF with HIS blood sacrifice requires dicipline,even though HE HIMSELF has already defeated Satan there are still soldiers to be lost in you and I. (John 6: 39:40)
Sword of the Spirit
Ephesians 6:17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Is the Rhema Word, JESUS in the dessert used the written word to ward of Satan HE would say for it is written. The written word of GOD has power and authority in (Matthew 4:1:11) several times did he use this power of the word of GOD through HIS speech. We have been raised up with CHRIST JESUS (Ephesians 2:6) CHRIST wants to prepare us for this angelic war that does not happen in the flesh.(Ephesians 6:12)
