True love isn't about 'getting' its about 'giving'. Long as your focus is on what you can get out of 'love' for yourself, you'll have a hard time finding it. Love is not selfish nor self serving.

True love believes, hopes, trusts, strengthens, but doesn't fade with time whether that person is around or not. It brings a smile to your face even when you may be upset with them for whatever reason. Is not about what is fair, but what is best for them, even if it means sacrifice for you.
