Judas was being eliminated....

Many believe in Jesus without repentance and are without faith. Faith is that form of believing that is authored by Jesus, based upon Spirit illuminated scripture and always produces works appropriate to repentance in those who have it.

Look, you can try to tag me with witches all you like. I never knew witches didn't read about witches, nor did I learn from Monks. I don't have a demon, nor do they speak through me because Jesus Christ is my Lord AND Savior

The context of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit which He the Holy Spirit has used me in are from the word of God Listed in 1cor chapter 12 through 14. I don't appreciate your subtle accusations of one learning of the gifts of the Holy Spirit from witches and Tibetan monks.

To answer your qestion as to who knows the langues that one is speaking in tongues by the power of the Holy Spirt :
1cor chapter 14:2

"2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. "

I am so sorry your witches and Monks should have provided the text for you. I did not receive anything from a demon.

The Holy Spirit's gifts should not be equated to demons. You are free to follow demons and pagans and witches if you like you seem to have a severe fetich with them.

If you again suggest that I am or have associated with witches, demons, or monks in my Testimony of being used in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and do so subtly, I will report you to Admin. You can disagree and even say what I am doing is unbiblical per your understanding. We can agree to disagree, but if you mock and scoff at me and my experience as an immature person in a cowardly fashion, I will speak directly to Admin about that. 1cor chapter 14: 2

It is the word of God. I am not a reincarnation, and I have not entered into trances about alleged past lives. That is foolishness.
I do not think you are a witch but you and the rest of the Pentecostal movement are most certainly self-deluded.

Pentecostals are defined by claims of physical manifestations of supernatural abilities. Since these types of claims are by nature self-proving the lack of prima facie is damning evidence of this movement's fraudulent nature.

Just as the Mormon movement claims of supernatural manifestations are baseless so too are those of the modern Pentecostals.

So CS1, you are either self-deluded or a fraud but you are not "gifted" by God with supernatural abilities.

You simply think you are.

And, so will these who also think they are...

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven,
but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day
many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast
out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’
And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you
workers of lawlessness.’

That is one reason why we are told we need to work out our own salvation in fear and trembling.
We all had something that we felt was good, that wanted to drag us off the path...
Leaving Pentecostalism is like having to kick a drug addiction...

In Christ .....

God has called me to prophesy in California as well. He wants me to bring my message from the north of the state all the way to the south. It was the final location in the list of places He wanted to send me specifically.

I told Him I do not have the money for this trip, and He told me this time I have to go by faith. I will likely just get up and go tomorrow morning. Please pray for me and that God would provide for my journey as I go. Thank you in advance and may our Lord Jesus Christ bless you all so much!

I will share my mission's work with you when I return.

What are you going to prophesy about?

I always wonder what a prophet could say that God has not repeated a thousand times already. How loud does the Lord have to yell before people hear? Is sending His own Son not enough?

What will happen when the find out that the gift of prophesy ended centuries ago?

Strange how you've made so many comments on my thread and have missed the message every time. Perhaps this is why - a confession of sorts:

That's why some are here. To erect argumentative distractions as a means to avoid a flow of ideas that would lead to understanding.

All you had to do was click the link in the post you quoted. It was a picture of me with my sign.

That is a form of soul winning. Not prophecy.

I know this is my first thread, but I came to this site to ask people's opinions.

God has called me to be a prophet, but I don't understand the point of it. What good is it to know what is going to happen? What good is it to tell people what's going to happen?

When I do tell people what is going to happen, they don't believe me and they come up with any explanation they can to say that what God has shown me will happen won't happen.

Deuteronomy 18:21,22 gives the test of a prophet: "[SUP]21 [/SUP]You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” [SUP]22 [/SUP]If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed." I will pass that test when what God has shown me comes to pass. The only problem is that when what I say comes to pass, there will not be anyone alive or on this forum to verify it.

Even the most devout Christians on this forum will not be able to accept what I have to say. God is going to do a thing so great and terrible that you cannot even fathom it, let alone accept it. And again I ask, what good is it for me to tell anyone? I fear, and think I know deep down in my heart, that God has raised me up to be the unheard prophet: a raving madman preaching from the street corner about what He is going to do and that no one will listen or heed my warning. And then it will be too late.
prophets are Gods servants for the people

If you think that makes you a prophet, then so am I, as I have known that (what your sign says) since the 1980's.

I think you confuse being prophetic with the appointment of prophet. All Christians ought to be prophetic for the testimony of Christ is the spirit of prophecy.

Revelation 19:10
And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

To know Christ is to know where right and wrong leads.

I hate to tell you this, but Prophesying doesn't make one a Prophet. The context of Prophesying is speaking under the inspiration. Pastors called that office to do that each Sunday at the Pulpit.

Oh there are more and varied offices doing the work than just one.

Mat 23:34
Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

Could you define "speaking under the inspiration"?

Hypnotic state....

Professional hypnotists for entertainment hold what I call "secular Pentecostal services."
I once saw a professional hypnotist entertaining a college crowd.

He had them...

Speaking in languages not of their own upbringing.
Even had someone interpreting what was said.

Had some feeling deeply moved by love for another.
Making some feel joyous and happy on command. (laughing in the Spirit)

And, even a moment when he had some doing what was identical to what is now called 'slain in the Spirit.'

My eyes were opened wide open that night.

Drunk with holy laughter

......

I have provided an overview of the concept of "unction" as described in 1 John 2:20 The idea that the Holy Spirit empowers believers through anointing is central to understanding the transformative power of preaching and teaching. The word of God is powerful sharper than any double-edged sword.

In 1 John 2:20 and 2:27, the "unction" or anointing signifies an intimate connection with the Holy Spirit that equips individuals to discern truth and impart wisdom.

This divine influence can elevate a message beyond mere human effort, making it spiritually impactful.
The reference to the Gospel of John (chapters 14 and 15) underscores the theme of reliance on the Holy Spirit, who guides and teaches believers. This connection illustrates the vital role of the Holy Spirit in empowering and inspiring not only sermons but all aspects of a believer's life.
Do you want to explore how this concept is reflected in practical ministry or personal experiences? I can give you mine.

No hypnotic state. That is demonic, which should never be equated with the Work of Anointing of the Holy Spirit.
