What is the root of the sin?
• Jas 1:13-15 -> “Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.”.
Everything starts with the necessity. When the necessity isn’t satisfied, people are lured and enticed by the desire that arise in order to supply this necessity, whether it is legitimate or not. This makes people subject to the dishes of Ha-Satan. People starts, then, to think and feel like Ha-Satan (the seed of the woman (the desire) is fertilized with the seed of Ha-Satan (the distortion of the Word), giving birth to sin).
• Gen 3:6 -> “So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.”.
Note that Eve began to fancy all that Ha-Satan said to her. Her imagination increased so much that she had for sure that the tree was good for food.
But this only took place for the reason shown below:
• Eph 4:17-19 -> “Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds. They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart. They have become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity.”
To start, the mind of Eve became futile because of the ignorance that was in her. Unfortunately, Adam didn’t seek the Creator perfectly. The proof is that the Creator wasn’t close when they sinned (He only came in the cool of the day – Gen 3:8). When Adam was naming the animals, he didn’t ask advice to the Creator.
Also, he didn’t care for the garden perfectly. Otherwise he would have perceived that the serpent was sly (Gen 3:1) and Eve didn’t have received all the necessary ken (see 1Cor 14:34,35).
Without knowing every purport of the Eternal for her (for instance, Gen 1:28), her heart became hard, her understanding got darkened and she got alienated from the life of the Creator.
When this happen, people lose their feeling and deliver themselves to sensuality with all eagerness. They become addicted.
To worst the things, it comes the law:
• Rom 5:20 -> “Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more.”.
As the person can’t overcome the sin alone, the only thing that the law does for the sinner is to make them sin more (after all, beyond the sin, they need to lie (in order to try to cover their sin) and, many times, take more drastic actions (to rob, kill, blackmail, etc.).
Hence Paul said:
• 1Co 15:55-56 -> ““O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.”.
The death (from which Ha-Satan is the emperor – Heb 2:14) uses the sin (to abet people) and the law (to make the guilt and sin increase unmeasured in their life).
So, have a good day living in righteousness so that the grace can reign within you, making you abounding in Jesus’ work, inasmuch as, in Him, your labor is always profitable:
• Rom 5:21 -> “so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”.
• 1Co 15:57,58 -> “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”.
