My favorite chapter is John 17.
In the beginning Jesus prays for His disciples, but then later He prays for US.

John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

When one receives the Holy Ghost, you receive all three parts of God as they three are one God.

My favorite chapter is Revelation 22. The river and the tree of life that are part of the new Jerusalem are described.

(KJV Revelation 22:1-2) "And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."

(KJV Revelation 22:14) "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."

Yes, He prays for all generations which Includes us. I take comfort in that because all of the Lord's prayers are answered.
That is a beautiful chapter. Jesus gives such insight into His heart and His own humanity in dependence to the Father.
Concerning our salvation, 12While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

He shows that He is keeping us, rather than the other way around.

One of my favorites is Mk 5 where 'straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague' by faith and then later in the chapter with the man's dead daughter 'straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment..' two amazing miracles there plus more.

Genesis Chapter 1 🌏🧬

It begins with, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
and at the end of the chapter we read, "And God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good." And it will be again!

I love that chapter too!
When I got saved, I started reading the Bible.
I was raised a Theistic Darwinian Evolutionist.
My false view was that God guided evolution from the "primordial Soup "that Carl Sagan talked about. As I read the Bible, I realized that no matter how many years and ingredients evolutionary biologists added to their soup, they couldn't begin to create life.
Only God can create life and he didn't need a zillion years to do it.

Jesus confirmed the literal reading of Genesis and that was enough to convince me.

My favorite is Romans 6.
I love reading of how the old self can be destroyed, and a new creature raised with Chist to walk in newness of life, and we can be free from sin.
