What is your heritage?
• “Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart are wasting away: but God is the Rock of my heart and my eternal heritage.” (Psalms 73.25,26).
The idea of handing down the knowledge about Jesus from generation to generation is important. Perceive that someone bequeathed the Creator to the psalmist. It’s important to go back to the Old Testament in order that we settle down in Jesus, considering how that people, even not being under the Grace of Jesus, got along with the Creator (see Psalms 37.4), having Him like their possession and desire.
Let’s move away from this world, break off relations with their sinful concepts, values and passions and go back to Jesus. Let’s never think that we are sufficiently close to Jesus: there is always a distance to be returned (meditate on “come” to the Father instead of “go” to the Father - see John 14.6);
