What is your name and what does it mean?

My name is Abigail. She's in the bible. 1 Samuel 25. I admire her and I thank my parents for choosing this name. It means, Father's joy :)

My name is Isaac. It means laughter. And I seem to live up to it without trying too hard. :D

There's a girl at church, used to be in my children's church class when she was younger, her name is Tabatha. She's a hyper, outgoing, somewhat brash kind of person, the kind who could talk to a brick wall and might just get it to reply. I found out Tabatha means "gazelle" and it seemed so fitting I started calling her gazelle. Unfortunately she found out what my name means...

My name is Daniel and it means - one who delivers judgment in the name of God; God is my judge.
 
Patrick, which can either be rendered from german Padraig to mean "powerful" or latin Patrician/Patricius to mean "a class of nobility". I suppose the latin rendering is more proper being the one used in Ireland and my mom being big on the irish pride thing named me Patrick. Lol though I am by carnal race, more of german background.

At the church I been visiting they pass around a sheet for prayer requests and praises. Being that I am somewhat more shy in person than one might think from my posts on here, I sign the paper in funny ways so as to obfuscate my identity, but also not tell a lie. I like to sign it as Noble, Nobility, or Nobility son of the Judgment of God. My carnal father's name being Daniel, which means God is the judge, or judgment of God.

Depending on the origin story you prefer, Mary can mean one of the following:

1. bitterness (same root as myrrh in Hebrew)
2. beloved (from an Egyptian source)

I was named after the Mother of Jesus who was both beloved by God and experienced great bitterness in her life.
