I went to a walk with my dog, then there was this path on the snow in the forest.. it ended, but I decided to take a "shortcut" to a another small road.. I just forgot that is the part of the forest where even in the summer I get lost.
I know it is silly to feel panic trying to lurk in, because almost every direction there is road (and I could always go back my tracks), but to not know where you exactly are is the worst. For me.

It looked like that, every direction you would look, same scenery.

How nice it is to see end of the trees, and know you are almost there and on the right path. This is from another time I decided to take that same shortcut. And it was sunny then and this is near the end of my shortcut.

During this time of the year the poppies are in bloom. There's an overgrown yard I walk by often and I enjoy seeing them every year. I took this pic the other day when I was walking by there. I know it's a bit shabby, but the poppies are lovely and even more lovely in person...well, they were. Someone came and mowed them all down. I was just walking by them in the dusk this evening and they weren't there. Well, anyway, here's what they looked like...

There were old church boats:

People used to go to church with these boats back in the day.

And old buildings, that had been moved to there to be in a open air museum:
