Here is another,
Thanks for the info. I think i posted the Watchman's blog as there was something he wrote on contemporary worship i could not point out specifically. Sorry, am not able to get it now, but here, just a remind esp. for those exposed (and i mean ears used to) only to more modern stuff and not the rest...That top one appears to be a totally different group, copy catting the name, to vainly attempt to gain some Credibility.
I am not sure why you listed, The Watchman's Bagpipes as it did not seem to have anything to do with Hillsong. That organization seems to be a typical old fashioned Conservative Christian site. So I seriously doubt if he would approve of Hillsong's worship style. I do not know, but somehow, I picture Glenn E. Chatfield, the Piper, attending a Church that still has a huge pipe organ. And I do not object to that either, but it is not my cup of tea.
ANY FURTHER DISCUSSION NEEDS TO BE MOVED TO THE BIBLE DISCUSSION FORUM.
This Thread if strictly for ENCOURAGING ONE ANOTHER with the Christian Music that BLESSES OUR HEARTS.

Popular Jesus?
When Jesus gets popular in the mass media, watch out -- it's not the real Jesus. The church popular is the church polluted, and the church persecuted is the church pure.
Norman Geisler, cited by Douglas LeBlanc in "The Mass Media's Quest for the Historical Jesus," Christian Research Journal, Vol. 27 / No. 3, 2004, "News Watch"
I'm not discussing this here, but replying to ur post, thanks.
I used to sing out from my heart. I based the song to what's happening to me. For example, when I face difficulty I sing, What Faith Can do by kutless and it touched me!
