What Laws are still valid to christians

I have always been a person that held the Mosaic Law in high regard. Today, that gets me labeled, and into trouble, because the norm seems to be that through Christ the Mosaic Law has been done away with despite the Words of Christ Himself. So, I am presented with another argument of why the Law is useless, presenting to me another scripture to prove the point of neglect. The statement was;
“We are no longer under the Mosaic law as the way to righteousness and to salvation, because it is weak and useless to do either.” (Heb 7:18-19).
So I read Hebrews 7:18-19 (KJV)
[SUP]18 [/SUP]For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
I still couldn’t get my head wrapped around the way this scripture was presented, because I believe there has never been righteousness achieved by being under the Mosaic Law. I’ve always thought that the Mosaic Law had a purpose however, but I knew it had no power to make a man or a woman righteous because humans are incapable. The Word says, if you break one of the least commandments, that you’re guilty of breaking all of them. It looks like verse 18 really does appear to read as if the Mosaic Law has truly been disannulled.
So then I saw it. There was something “going before” this disannulling. It was a “weakness and unprofitableness thereof.” A subtlety that was very easy to miss without study. This person was actually saying the law was weak, and never mentioned that the flesh was weak. I can now see the distortion of scripture, yet it was not misquoted, and was even the truth, as far as it went, but wasn’t the whole truth.
I suppose that if one wants to negate the Mosaic Law, and throw it away, they would have to declare it as the entity at fault. So I began to search scripture that said that the law was weak.
Romans 8:3 (KJV)
[SUP]3 [/SUP]For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Yes, the law is weak, but not in itself, it is us affiliated with it that makes it weak. That isn’t God’s fault, it’s our fault, for if we claim his Word as weak in itself without us being attached, we actually are equating God’s Word as weak instead of us. That way of thinking (for all intents and purposes) inadvertently makes God’s Word weaker than we are, and then we can claim strength in salvation by neglecting reality, and just go on our merry old way, singing “I’ll fly away”.
Our adversary doesn’t want us to recognize our nature in the flesh, he wants us to turn a blind eye to the reality that even though we are saved by the blood of Christ, we still have this old nature that fights within our members. The Mosaic Law in its entirety is like the mirror that the brother of Jesus mentioned.
James 1:23-25 (KJV)
[SUP]23 [/SUP]For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
[SUP]24 [/SUP]For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
God never negated the law, for He wants us to see ourselves as He sees us, and that leads us to the law of liberty, understanding that the law is good if we use it lawfully.

From reading the history of the founding fathers of the United States, I think that the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] continental congress had this understanding when they signed the constitution.

everyone says they have been save but are they truly save? not just doing the actions " lord i'm a sinner, now come into me" means your save alot of people believe this nonsense

for years i said the "repeat after me prayer" and nothing changed, it wasnt until I cried out with sincerity that my life changed!

Problem in many churches on the west is that they understand salvation as a moment in life when u say i believe in God and by that u r saved.Well,that would be good thing,but is it true?

You are right, when we are truly born again, that is the beginning of the salvation walk. When we put on the yoke of Jesus we have it on to pull a load. There is no purpose for the yoke if we don't move. If we look at salvation as something in the past, I think we better check ourselves out, and be sincere as to where we really stand. salvation is an experience everysingle person who is saved must experience, when the power of christ touch you and you've never felt nothing like that on earth or anywhere else salvation is a supernatural experience between a born again believe and God something must happen from your faith, then after this event happens and you go back to your normal living life you realize something is different about you, your speech change, the bible said we will speak in new tongues when we are born again and that's exactly what happen and i couldn't help it, then after that you can actually understand the bible that was the most incredible thing i've ever seen in my life, i mean everyone sees the words in the bible but no one understands it without the holy spirit, and when i started reading the bible after this birth, i realize everything was so magnified and i actually understood what everysingle thing mean't the first thing i stumble upon was we are a new creature in christ, i started to freak out when i saw that was like " THAT IS WHAT HAPPEN TO ME" and i also got very emotional and couldn't help it i didn't shed tears for about 2 years not even at my dads funeral because i had alot of anger in my heart, but now when i see people living in sin i get sad all the day, because i know they wouldn't believe me if i tell them that this life is just a passive through but God truly is goood he still saves today, the same yesterday today and forever
lol a yoke , we really stand in hell. . pull that heavy yoke, if you want. (my yoke is easy , my burdens light said by jesus). before going to the cross.

It could be a fatal mistake if one thinks the word "commands" here is speaking of the law of moses. Nothing in the passage would even hint that this was fact.
The word translated commands here is used many times of an ordinance, or rules of a company. Marching orders for a military going to war etc etc.
God gave his church orders. Those who are his follow these orders. When we are doing the things God has sent us out to do in this spiritual war going on around us. We are in the will of God. and purifying our souls of the dirt which resided from self will, self sustainment and the self will to find satisfaction apart from God. As scripture says, It is better to give than recieve, Those who have given and sacrificed in the service of God understand through faith, there is no better thing to fulfill that emptyness left in us due to the fall that this.
It does not mean they are obeying the law of moses, It means they are doing the will of God any other translation would flawed at best.
One must also remember, The woman (isreal) who has fled from judea to the mountains have been obeying the law of moses by this time better than probably 99 % of Christians do. Yet they are still most likely in a state of unbelief. Jacobs trouble has just begun, And God is going to use this time to open the eyes of many in israel and around the world..
So to say this is the law of moses, Would be insinuating that anyone who does this is saved.

yes they do.. They are just as dangerous to the church, themselves, and those around them as those who are practicing we are saved because of things we do..
Both false Gospels come from Pride.
