I'd consider a woman like that a total catch. I want a woman who tries to burp louder than me and succeeds! Who attempts to out-eat me and who doesn't order salad because it's the 'lady-like thing to do'. The kind who turns up to a date in converse, jeans, tank top and a hair-braid, who doesn't care if her underarms haven't been shaved in a couple days. Someone who challenges me intellectually, who defies convention, who drinks beer and watches football with me on a Saturday afternoon. Someone who doesn't mind when I mess up and above all who respects me enough to accept me as a person rather than see me as a work in progress towards some perfectionist ideal of ''what a man is meant to be''.

What makes a woman dateable is when she's real and honest, genuine and interested. There's no room in modern dating for the rigid etiquette of bygone days, and I think life's far too short to make fuss for fuss's sake.

As I read what type of woman you like I remembered the characters (that became an annoying cliche to me) that Sandra Bullock plays in almost all the movies she's in.

I know it's purely a cultural thing, and a frivolous one at that. It fascinates me that it is deeply enough engrained in me that I cannot move past it. I'd feel more comfortable burping the ABCs in front of you, and THAT is saying a lot. ;)

I'm not saying a girl shouldn't be like that, bless her heart, but do you, being a guy, really believe that a girl like this would go for you?

I know a woman is undateable when................. we leave the salon and her bouffant hair-cut is slightly higher than mine!!!

I don't mean you out-height your bouffant do, Descyple :rolleyes: I requested that the hair stylist make mine at least 3 inches higher than yours, so when I wear my 3-inch high heels, I'd be approximately as tall as you are :o that'd be awesome!!! I showed her this pic, so I think she got the idea....

Guys, please if you like a girl pleaseeee never attempt to criticize her then later on flower with compliments!!!! Seriously, that kind of style will lead you nowhere.

It's a good thing credit card companies haven't cracked that one yet, or I can think of a lot of people that would be in serious debt.
