What makes a woman savvy?
• Pro 14:1 -> “Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.”
At first, we need to stand out that the savant woman builds up her house, and not the house of somebody else. And how can a woman edify her house?
Well, the wisdom is something that is cultivated in the brain. And who is the head of the woman?
• 1Co 11:3 -> “But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.”.
It is truth that the man ought to instruct her woman:
• 1Co 14:34,35 -> “Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.”.
However, it is up to the woman to multiply the ken that the man cast into her womb, make it fructify (Psalm 128:3) for Jesus’ glory so that all the Earth can be fill with the knowledge of the Creator’s glory (Gen 1:28; Isa 11:9; Hab 2:14).
Regrettably, most of the women, nowadays, instead of investing her life working the ken that Jesus imparted to her husband, prefer to get wisdom from strange sources in order to edify her house apart from her husband.
Even if there is accord between husband and wife, it isn’t thus that the things ought to work. Do you remember how the Creator rebuked Adam?
• Gen 3:11 -> “And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked?”.
That is to say: “how did you find out this?”. Note that, although it was truth what Adam said, but it wasn’t for him to know that he was naked. He should learn only what comes from the Creator.
Alike, the woman needs to amend her knowledge based on the revelation of the Creator in the life of her husband. Hence the Creator commanded the husband to teach his wife and wife to submit to this teaching.
When the woman proceeds at this way, she will secure a good and savvy head (her husband – see 1Pe 3:1), what will allow her to build up her house on the Rock (in the practice of the revelation of Jesus – Mat 7:24-27). But, if she tries to edify getting knowledge from other source, the only thing that she will pick up is the falling apart of her home.
So, have a good day abiding by what Jesus revealed to your husband, even if the revelation that Jesus granted for your neighbor looks like something more attractive, effectual and wonderful. Don’t despise the day of the little things (Zech 4:10), nor look on what Jesus imparted to you as picayune or dirty (Acts 10:15).
