wow I hadn’t considered that but agree , physically speaking . I find that of a man is looking up into heaven and receiving a vision of God he might see an expanse or brilliant layer between heaven and earth that obscured our view into the spiritual places like this sort of
So if God approached in heaven and looked down to earth to speak it might appear like this with an expanse betwixt that obscures the view like a veil
“And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

but If a man was up above the firmament the same vision might look like this because there’s no veil or crystal expanse between the two places

I shortened the account from Ezekiel but you may be able to see my point if your looking up at the sea of glass it would look like an expanse across the y like a sea of crystal above the earth but below heaven
but if you are above the expanse it would look like a sea of crystal
so I think the sea is the thing holding back man from seeing the spiritual reality of creation shown in revelations epic visions of John who was in heaven seeing things that were still looking at from earth and trying to find the right view the perspective changed in my opinion from earth in the ot to heaven in the new
when John sees the fire mixed in the sea of glass it’s because he’s looking down through the crystal expanse into the earth where this has now happened Thisnisnwhy he sees the fire mixed in and the redeemed start appearing in heaven standing on The crystal expanse so he’s looking down into earth after this happens the atonement sacrifice of Christ

the next time we see the sea the beast roses up from it and the Christians are pursued by the dragon ( John is still looking down from heaven seeing the spiritual reality on earth ) and then the atonement fire appears as they begin being redeemed and appear in heaven with John standing before the throne on the sea of glass mingled with the atonement fire
the ot speaks of God looking through an opening in heaven looking at earth seeking after men’s hearts searching us I think John is looking through thy at window seeing the earth in it’s true state where Satan is causing havoc
This present earth and heaven will be no more and there will be a new earth and heaven where sin has never been and sin will never be.
That is why there is no sea for it is a new earth.
All sin must be purged with fire and the wicked does not get renovated and neither does the earth that has been tainted with sin.
Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
It is a completely new heaven and earth.
Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Jesus went away to prepare the new earth and heaven and will not renovate this earth.
Psa 63:9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
Eph 4:9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
The wicked are in the lower parts of the earth which is hell.
Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
The devils will be cast to earth where it becomes their holding cell and they cannot roam the air anymore and they will deceive all the wicked to follow the antichrist.
All the wicked people and fallen angels will be confined to the earth and located in that one place.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
The whole earth with all the wicked people and angels will be cast in to the lake of fire.
So there is a new earth and heaven the place that Jesus is preparing for the saints and when the saints are at the New Jerusalem the former heaven and earth will not be remembered nor come to mind for the saints and angels will remember nothing prior to the New Jerusalem for it is associated with sin and rebellion.

“For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

ok the heavens being on fire and the elements dissolving with fervent heat...wont that mean the seas will boil up dry and evaporate or everything on earth will be on fire...
unlike Noahs day when everything was flooded...the coming judgment is fire...so I imagine the new earth and the new heaven unlike the first heaven and the first earth, the planet will be very different, possibly all land and only rivers and lakes.
In the New Jerusalem theres a tree with leaves for the healing of nations...why would the nations need to be healed? In rev 16:3-4 EVERYONE dies in the sea which has turned to blood.

Im hoping that it will all turn to fresh water so we'll still have fish...surely they will adapt. The fish in the sea cant be evil.

No sea means no watewhere seas used to exist. It doesn't mean the salt is taken out of water.
how do you know
what about the rivers and lakes then. Will that mean there will be vast tracts of new land?
What about the dead sea is that still a sea.
Because if the sea is no more, there is no water.
Revelation 21 does not say anything about lakes or rivers disappearing.
It's not new land, just land that was covered by water.
No sea will exist in the NHNE.
I wonder if it becomes this waters ?

Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.
And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.
And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.”
Ezekiel 47:1, 8-9, 12
The world is definitely prophesied to be judged through fire this time...so it's possible the water we see could evaporate.
But another possibility is the world returns back to the way it was prior to the flood. There are currently many underwater rivers - massive, massive rivers plunging miles - that are covered by today's oceans. These rivers appear to connect to each other and flow around the planet.
It's plausible these are the very same rivers spoken about in Genesis.
Genesis 2:10-14
10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
The following video is from an independent christian research group that explains their theory on the four rivers.
- 19:45 starts the portion about the flood and the rivers.
- 32:41 shows a map of the world's water showing massive oceanic "trenches" (from national geographic).
- Notice at 54:17 the researcher's drawn map shows "dry land" where there's currently water. You have to imagine there was more land than the continents we currently know...
- At 56:30 the speaker illustrates how these rivers exploded with water during the flood to cut through the land like a power washer creating the continents we know today (once waters receded to reveal land again).
I think the see of glass is the same sapphire stone that makes up the Almighty's throne and floor.
Exodus 24:10
And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
Revelation 15:2
And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God
There is no "becoming". The verse says there is no sea so the seas of the world cease to exist.
I take it at face value, that God will remove all the seas of world. Why? Many think it's for more dry land for all the immortal people who will live on Earth.
