do you understand the House of Judah - the Jews - were still married to Christ and they killed their husband

and Christ is going offer to the Jews, later, the gift of eternal life.
Jeremiah 3
He married all of Israel at the first Pentecost at Mt Sinai, he divorced the 10 tribes of Israel but was still married to the house of Judah. By dying at Calvary that marriage to Judah was nullified, leaving him free to remarry all Israel at the second Pentecost, as it says in Jeremiah and Hebrews, a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah.

It seems t me that you are looking to the future for what has already been fulfilled and is still being fulfilled today.

Are you a Calvinist ?

No definitely not. I was referring to what Paul calls the elect, ie. the chosen. My comment is based on verses like this

And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained (τάσσω) to eternal life believed. Acts 13:48

G5021 τάσσω tasso (tas'-sō) v.
1. to arrange in an orderly manner.
2. (generally) to assign or dispose (to a certain position or lot).

Ok thought I would ask rather than just assume :)

Oh my goodness! Do you not read the whole bible?

And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Acts 2:5
But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: Acts 2:14
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. Acts 2:38-41

He already did. Who do you think the first Christians were?

you have yet to answer.. if the three patriarchs are not Jews how is it only Jews are the chosen people?
I am waiting to hear your answer, I have my seat belt on tight
I hope it is not like the other one you know, how god is birthing billions just to watch them die.

I can't answer because I honestly don't know what you're asking. Your head is in a weird place I don't understand.

Yes - It has baffled me also. At first I thought it as saying not all are Jews, that there was the Hebrews and the other tribes etc, but subsequent remarks has got me confused to what the point is supposed to be.

sorry I thought it was a very clear question,

if Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are not Jews, then how can only the Jews be the chosen people?

the 12 tribes came from Jacob and his four Hebrew wives and never are they ever called Jews.

from the web

No, all 12 tribes of Israel are not Jews. In fact, only two tribes—Judah and Benjamin—are the historical ancestors of modern Jewish people. The rest belong to the Northern Kingdom, known as the "Ten Lost Tribes

The breakdown of how the tribes connect to modern Jewish identity is distinct:
  • The Jews (Judah, Benjamin, and Levi): Ancient Israel split into two kingdoms after King Solomon. The Southern Kingdom consisted mainly of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, plus the priestly tribe of Levi. Because Judah was the dominant tribe, the citizens came to be known as "Judeans" (the linguistic root of the word "Jew"). Modern Jews are primarily descendants of this group

So what does Hebrews 8:8 - in fact the whole chapter say to you ? What about the many Jews who believed in the book of Acts ?

I do not remember my whole comment, but!
the majority of the world that are christians, not catholics, are found in the nations coming from Britain or closely associated to them .

Don't know the population numbers but christians are at least 40 or 50 times that of the Jews which last I looked were around 25 to 30 million world wide and the majority are still Jews and not christians.
Yes, at the beginning it was 100% Jewish until it became known Christ was calling gentiles, the Church was only Jews at the beginning. actually Christ showed Peter He was calling gentiles

Christ came and died so everyone of the 100 plus Billion that have lived to date can have their one opportunity at eternal life. and any that are born from now on.

Who has said Jews are the only chosen people? Not me

Then the question remains where are the rest of the Chosen People, those that are not jews?

Many on this site refer to the Jews AS "The" Chosen people

Hold on a minute,, I believe you told me all 12 tribes have returned to the tiny nation of Israel?
So the Jews that returned to Israel are not jewish?? I wonder if they know they are not Jews?
Boy are they in for a surprise, they have thought all their lives they were jews.

I say ----------Very interesting Video -----for anyone interested in Jewish history on the 12 tribes of Israel -----and here is the thing ---God will bring back lost tribes when He is ready ---humans trying to figure out how to find them is futile -----the dry bones will be reunited in His time -----the 144,000 will be saved and Preach the Gospel during the Tribulation Period you can bet on that --

The lost tribes is a Jewish myth based on unbelief in Christ. For a Christian to say the tribes of Israel are lost is to say that Jesus failed over the past 2000 years to find and save every single lost sheep of the house of Israel. It's a real dishonor to God.

And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 19:9-10
For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. Amos 9:9

Is it OK if Christ says they are lost?

24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Christ was not sent to offer eternal life to all of Judah -- at that time, He was sent to the House of Israel, the 10 tribes.
the majority of the 10 tribes were moved into Europe 750 year earlier.

He came to His own and they Killed Him.

the Father's Church today, is made up of the 10 tribes, gentiles and very few Jews.
