What secret do you have? Why can nobody know about it?

• Pro 20:19 -> “Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets; therefore do not associate with a simple babbler.”.
• Pro 11:13 -> “Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a thing covered.”.

Of course, gossipers and slanderers are a tragedy. Hence the Holy Scripture says:

• Lev 19:16 -> “You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand up against the life of your neighbor: I am the LORD.”.

Unfortunately, the pleasure that many people has in the disgrace of the others is so big that they insist on trying to find a way of making the others suffer:

• Pro 18:8 -> “The words of a whisperer are like delicious morsels; they go down into the inner parts of the body.”.
• Pro 26:20,22 -> “For lack of wood the fire goes out, and where there is no whisperer, quarreling ceases. The words of a whisperer are like delicious morsels; they go down into the inner parts of the body.”.

Also, it is abhorrent when some betray our confidence spreading intimate things which we didn’t want to become public.

I know that there are moments that we need to go out of our problems, frustrations, etc. Nonetheless, if we don’t wish that all of this being unshrouded, it is better we disembosom with Jesus only. After all, the human being isn’t trustful:

• Rom 3:9-18 -> “What then? Are we Jews any better off? No, not at all. For we have already charged that all, both Jews and Greeks, are under sin, as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” “Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive.” “The venom of asps is under their lips.” “Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness.” “Their feet are swift to shed blood; in their paths are ruin and misery, and the way of peace they have not known.” “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” “.
• Jer 17:5 -> “Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD.”.

Don’t mind how much the person is consecrated to Jesus, even His great apostles made mistakes. So, if you don’t desire to be let down, keep your secret for yourself, or better: get rid of everything in your life that people can’t know. After all:

• Joh 3:19-21 -> “And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.” “.
• 2Co 4:2 -> “But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God.”.

So have a good day ditching everything in your life that is not light in your life. After all, in Jesus there is no murkiness:

• 1Jn 1:5 -> “This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”.
