What to expect about the future (Part 2)?

I have pondered on the old age. When we get there, how will be the things? Most of the people don’t concern about it. Nonetheless, if we monkey around, dallying in petty things, how will be our life if we lost all our strength and lose the ability to move ?

We will be condemned to stay in house sleeping, looking toward nothing, hearing music, watching TV and eating. How meaningless is this kind of life! Nobody thinks that they can be the next victim. Nevertheless, who doesn’t die young, won’t escape e old age.

On the other hand, if we are in Christ and we instill Jesus’ testimonies in our minds, we will be able to convey Jesus’ message with our lives and through internet. Not to mention that we will be able to reach people through prayers. An elder with Christ never will be alone and without utility:

  • “Behold, you shall call a nation that You do not know; a nation that did not know You shall run to You because of Jehovah Your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for He has glorified You.” (Isaiah 55.5);
  • “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that are planted in the house of Jehovah shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flowering; to show that Jehovah is upright; He is my rock, and no unrighteousness is in Him.” (Psalms 92.12-15).

So, let’s redeem the time get advantage of all opportunity to know Jesus and glorify Him:

  • “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” (Ephesians 5.15,16);
  • “Walk in wisdom toward those on the outside, redeeming the time.” (Colossians 4.5).
