I did not speak in secret,
in a land of darkness;
I did not say to the offspring of Jacob,
‘Seek me in vain.’
I the Lord speak the truth;
I declare what is right.

My son, eat honey, for it is good,
and the drippings of the honeycomb are sweet to your taste.

Be still before the Lord
and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fret—it leads only to evil.

You really should quote the whole Scripture.........."and the drippings of the honeycomb are sweet to your taste, but watch out for the bees, they "fret" about you stealing their honey."

OH NO!

Psalms 37:7) Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
8 .) Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

IT'S IN MY KJV TOO!

(eek..............)

This is absolutely the FIRST TIME I ever noticed that "fret" was used in Scripture............uh, hey, wait, DOES THIS QUALIFY AS A REVELATION?

Well, but I guess you don't need a PhD in Webster's lexicography to understand at least most of the KJV. Being Spirit-filled usually works.

One person's archaism is another's research project, I suppose.

Job 38:1) Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, 2 .) Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? 3 .) Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

O Timothy, guard the deposit entrusted to you. Avoid the irreverent babble and contradictions of what is falsely called “knowledge,” for by professing it some have swerved from the faith.

This refers to Pentecost, right? into the good of which spiritual immersion the believer comes at the new birth.
Refers to the first day of born again here on earth, God living in and through us. Us dependent on God as we are to learn this from God through God's Mercy given to us by Son's work at the cross and beyond for the believer here and now,
Yes Pentecost and does not mean one need to speak in tongues. A new Heart, we are given that permeates through out our whole being, some faster than others, God is calling and class is in session, takes deciding to listen, a Spiritual voice not physical

Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Matthew 9:2 And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

Matthew 9:5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

I Corinthians 10

[SUP]11 [/SUP]Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. [SUP]12 [/SUP]Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. [SUP]13 [/SUP]There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Revelation 22

[SUP]6 [/SUP]I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. [SUP]17 [/SUP]And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
