The wheel. Not only can we move stuff heavier that we can lift (conveyor belts and come-alongs), the same principle built things like the pyramids of Egypt and in Central America. It also help create any other large dwelling on earth. Without the wheel, there would be no cog, and think of where we'd be without the cog. (We wouldn't be that far from where we were born, because cogs power trains, planes, and automobiles. Don't ask when we'd be, because the clock would have never been invented.)

That's the best invention, but not my favorite invention. My favorite invention is the ECMO. I know two people who wouldn't be alive without that one.

I am a feminist. Trust me, really not thinking eunuch is a good idea. On the other hand, I'd take a slave or two, if they're free.
