In India, weddings are a big deal. Sometimes they can go for three days, full of singing, dancing and different rituals.

I don't know what I'd do, because I haven't really thought about it, but I've been listening to all the songs some of you have posted. They're really nice :)

How about some culture shock? Here's a song from Bollywood with a marriage scene ^_^ . I liked the beats and it's groovy.

And this is in case, you wish to see the translation of that song

I can't walk down the isle to any song aside from the wedding march or silence. It would be too cheesy having some ballad playing over the speakers. It's gonna be a small wedding. On my side there will be 6 family members and maybe a friend or two? I'll have no bridesmaids cus I have no close girlfriends. It's gonna be one sad sad wedding lol

Cannon in D is nice. When I look back if I could go back in time and do it again, I'd say let's go get married, run off to some Island somewhere get married, come home and say SURPRISE! I think romantic ,spontaneous, and just the two of you, not sad but perfect. Avoid the stress and the other people complaining and telling you what to do, keep it simple and small.

For ours I don't remember every song, but a few

Bride entrance: Liz on Top of the World
Communion: Carried to the Table (piano only)
Exit: We are the Champions (piano only)

I really pushed for those three song (especially the last one)

YESSS I love the song Carried to the Table. Amazing song.

I don't think about what my wedding will be like much. I have vague ideas, but I was never one of those girls who looked through magazines or fantasized about it. However, I am pretty sure I would want this to be the song I walk down the isle to. It's just gorgeous.

Though, I'm considering not having a traditional wedding. I just don't understand the point of groomsmen, bridesmaids, etc. I think I'm too cheap/simplistic and I cank think of better things to spend my money on. I'm not even trying to be pessimistic. That's just what I think. Maybe when that day actually comes, I'll change my mind. But for now, meh.

I know your feeling restless
Like life's not on your side
It's weighing heavy on your mind

But when we stand united
Our hearts they beat in time
And I know we'll make it all alright

Let's bring it back to you and me
There's no one else around
Now don't get lost in gravity

'Cause I want you to hold me now
Nothing else matters
It's just the two of us
And if it all falls down
Nothing else matters
You know we're strong enough

I'm not giving up
I'm not giving up on us
I said im not giving up
I'm not giving up on love

We're of the same existence
No lock without a key
We can't deny it's meant to be

Cause I feel it inside
Taking over tonight
I'll be there when the storm is breaking

In this moment I'm yours
You can always be sure
That together we're gonna make it

So baby won't you hold me now
Nothing else matters
It's just the two of us
And if it all falls down
Nothing else matters
You know we're strong enough

I'm not giving up
I'm not giving up on us
I said im not giving up
I'm not giving up on love

Stop in the name of love by the temptations

Or, something that is a remix might be appropriate.

The beegees would still be popular today if they sounded half that good.

I've always loves this song ... This version is sooooo beautiful ! I will be suggesting this to my little sister. I think right now the plan is to walk down the aisle to an acoustic version of Hallelujah. Ya know .. The one from Shrek. Lol. It's really pretty.

I'm shocked that no one has picked this for their wedding song. It'd be the most epic wedding song ever!

I'd want to hear Arithmetic, May Waltz, Love is Waiting and other Brooke Fraser songs at my wedding. :)
